Congrats to first March filer who got approved! I filed on March 6th 2017, but after my divorce. Hoping to hear something soon, even though USCIS is more rigorous and prolly takes longer when processing divoreced filers. Any experiences?

You don't need to worry. There were many divorce waiver approval in a standard processing time since last year. It all depends but CSC is taking longer than ever to approve applicants. Whereas VSC is approving applicants under 11 to 12 months. CSC is taking on average 17 or 18 months to approve applicants, Good luck.

I'm on the same boat, and I'm a CSC filer. Crossing fingers.

Thanks guys! Only those who go through it know how hard it is! Especially when you moved to other side of world to start a family with someone and you watch it all disintegrate! And that is just the begining, between paying the lawyers, gathering evidence, losing people who you thought were friends, playing a waiting game with USCiS, I am surprised I still have my sanity!

Hey guys,

I haven't been on visa journey in ages, but as it's getting close to a year since I filled for the removal of conditions, I thought I'd join the conversation.

First of all, congratulations to those of you that have already been approved!! And good luck to the rest of us on hearing something soon.

I read through a couple of the pages here, but I didn't see this question answered anywhere. What do we do if we don't hear anything back before our one year extension expires? My drivers license will expire at the same time and I don't think I will be able to renew it without some kind of document showing that I am still a permanent resident...

Thanks guys and good luck!

Welcome back :) You can get an I55-1 stamp on your passport which will be proof of your residence.   You will need to schedule an infopass appointment. Most of the times the field office issue the stamps few weeks or a month before the three years of your GC expiration. You can renew your driver's license by showing them the I55-1 stamp.

Hi guys so my GC and drivers licence expires on the 02nd of March. I haven’t received anything from USCIS in regards to my I 751.

So just to stay on the safe side thinking of getting my passport stamped.

Could someone please kindly post details of where and how I can make my info pass appointment.

Thanks in advance!..

Go the infopass website and schedule an appointment. There might be no available slots. Try to check out at midnight or early morning to book an infopass appointment, good luck.
