Interesting, because when I submitted mine it was VSC that was seriously backed up. I remember having a sinking feeling when reviewing the processing time.

Lolzzzz absolutely. VSC used to take more time as compare to CSC but now its the opposite. On average VSC is approving applicants under a year(11 to 12 months) whereas CSC is taking 16 to 18 months. You are VSC applicant and I am very positive you would hear from them in 2 to 3 months.

I actually become eligible for that this week (filed I-751 at the end of my 90-day window) so I'm back on VJ to took things up. I checked a month or so ago it looked like no one knew for sure that it was okay to send in the N-400 with the I-751 pending, but everything pointed to it probably being okay, or at least everyone seemed to be doing it. I'll do some research today. I have the form ready to go and just need to check what kind of evidence is needed this time. I think since I'm applying through the marriage/3-year rule we need to resend a lot of the financial co-mingling evidence we sent for the I-751...

Haven't heard anything from the I-751 and wasn't really expecting to, I think it's still taking at the very least a year. When I check the case number on the tracker it still says "case was received" from back in March. We'll probably need to go get that passport stamp when the letter expires.

Can't wait to be done with the process...  at least we're getting closer!

I become eligible NYE! I've got all my stuff together and I'm posting it off Jan 2nd. I've got lots of extra stuff since we moved and found a ton of things I could have included before. I filed through CSC so it seems like they're really behind. Never know, may speed it up.

At the end of my journey!

That's good to know, good luck. CSC is taking forever you are taking the right step by filing N-400. They will adjudicate your I-751 and N-400 together. As a CSC filer myself I would file in 2 months.

Applications by the numbers.  I think its important that we all have this information while we wait for our cases to be resolved.  Seems like all we can do is wait at this point...

Hi everyone!

Thank you all for sharing your experiences,,

I am a filer of March 2017 too, and I will put my timeline here also:

Sent I-751 Documents: 03/13/2017

Package received: 03/14/2017

Check cashed: 03/16/2017

NOA received: Actually I forgot when exactly I received it, but that happened in the first week! "03/14 - 03/21" 2017

NOA dated: 03/14/2017

Biometrics: I forgot its exactly date also, I remember I received the letter in March, maybe 20-31and the date of the appointment was in April, I think it was between 15-29

But I had an emergency trip outside the US on Apr10, so I walked in the USCIS local office, and proofed them my emergency reason, then I did it in the same time, it was in the end of March.

So right now there is no update since I did my bio.

And I will update my information when I get any news.

I-485 (AOS)

04/01/2015 Sent Form I-485.

05/06/2015 Scheduled the interview and mailed its notice.

06/16/2015 The Post Office picked up mail containing the new card.

06/16/2015 The 2 years Green Card was mailed to me.

06/18/2015 The 2 years Green Card in hand.

06/05/2018 Received letter in mail, they will do an interview at the same time, date and location of my N-400 interview. "06/21/2018"

06/21/2018 The combo interview (with N-400 interview). But it's still pending until they send me the result of this interview.

06/27/2018 The case was approved, with the N-400 approval.

06/30/2018 Received the approval letter in mail.

N-400 (Under 3 Years Rule)

04/02/2018 Applied for N-400 Online. (I-751 is still pending)

04/02/2018 Received NOA Online (Received in mail on 4/03/18).

04/27/2018 Biometrics.

05/14/2018 Scheduled the N-400 interview.

06/21/2018 Interview's date.

Passed the English test and the U.S. history and government test.

But: A decision cannot be made yet about my application. The reason is my pending I-751 file!

06/27/2018 The case was approved (with the I-751 approval), and placed me in line for oath ceremony.

07/09/2018 Oath Ceremony was scheduled.

Approvals are down but so are denials. Could it be that they are just sending way more folks to interview?

Nope, they can not interview everyone which is utterly impossible. USCIS interview mostly everyone for I-485 employment sponsor applicants since October-1--2017

They received an unprecedented number of applications which has delayed the process.

Just a quick note that I traveled on my extension letter to and from the UK through Dublin US pre-clearance. It was totally fine. Aer Lingus didn't even check my green card at the check-in desk on the way back. The border agent was totally fine too, even got a half-smile!

Good notice, I have traveled outside 2 times on my extension too, and they were fine, I did not realize any different between travel with a valid GC and an extension, except that when I traveled while my GC was expired I could not use the electronic system to print my information in the airport, just I went to the officer direct.

Based on the last reported processing times, the first we will hear (for VSCers) is Feb 15th for someone who applied on March 1st. Which is only a month and a half away.

I am not sure, I heard a lot and I have seen so many experiences that make me really puzzled!

But I could say "as CSC filers" we should wait until March-June, or we have to apply N400 during our I751s is still pending!

I posted this as its own thread but thought it might fit in here also.

So I have a couple of questions I hope you can answer for me.

My Green card NOA extension of 1 year is due to expire in mid April and my Drivers licence is due to expire March 3rd (because the DMV refused to extend it for the full 12 months on the letter)

So my questions are what do I do about the DMV? I can't go in without any proof as they wont extend and I can't get a infopass appointment until 1 month beforehand so I have heard... and by that time my DL will be expired.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also for what it is worth I filed at VSC.
