I would suggest not overcomplicating what in most cases turns out to be a non-issue (that's not to say it's not extremely important to file the I-865 now that you know you have an obligation to do so, but you are not the first person to have filed it late).

Guys I called USCIS and I spoked with an agent and she told me that me the petitioner/sponsor don't have to change the address only my wife. Hope this helps!

800-375-5283 press 1 and then press the option change of address so after that it will tell you if you wanna talk to a representative. Let me know if you got the info too

Uscis representative told me that they are working with july 2016 at this moment!!! So you not gonna find any updated in your case... so sorry...

Has anyone traveled on the extension letter yet (with expired green card)? Just wondering what it's like, as I'm going home for Christmas... yaaaay.

I did. Totally fine with the extension letter + green card. Super easy!

Awesome!! I am going to the UK via Dublin (Ireland). Dublin has pre-clearance. May I ask where you traveled to?

I went to UK and Spain. Doesn't matter where you go, just matters when you return. The only times it took a little longer (not that much longer) was explaining to the airline front desk in Spain on our flight back to the US that even though the green card was expired, I had the extension letter. Also, when you land, you won't be able to use the automated machines and will have to line up to the officer.

Nope, and we probably won't hear anything for a year. It's been 6 months at the end of this month for me so we're halfway through.

Just an FYI to people that might not be reading the other Months threads - there are regular approvals coming from September 2016, and starting to see October 2016 approvals for both the California and Vermont centers. There's even been an approval for a filer as late as December.
