He said I'd get a receipt/notice that the appointment was done in around two weeks. I didn't really question further what else it entailed.

That's the first time I've ever heard of that. They put a stamp on my letter with the appointment notice and that was it.

Question - I finally checked my case status on the USCIS website. I've done the biometrics appt a couple of weeks ago. Does the case status update with saying they've received the biometrics appt? Or does it basically say case was received until they approve it?

Thanks!

I don't think so any new legislation is going to affect the pending cases because they are already in the process. Any new legislation is going to affect new applicants. Last month Australia introduced new naturalization criteria which made so many people mad and frustrated because they were almost ready to apply for the citizenship now they have to wait to fulfill the new criteria.

Does anyone else recieved a letter from USCIS before they hit the 90 day Removal of condition phase. I got a notification letter from USCIS in February stating that i should apply to remove condition during the 90 days prior to the second anniversary of my CPR. I am a March filer and just wondering if anybody else got the letter because i was reading on the USCIS wesbite, they don't send notification letters when it comes ROC. Regards

We also got a letter for ROC. We didn't know that they don't sent letters to everyone. We assumed that this is the process. Hope this doesn't complicates the future process of our case ...

We never got a letter. I just knew the time was coming up. We applied about 1 month before the 2-year GC expired. So, always be on top of your own stuff, I guess
