HI everyone

we received our new biometrics date. Just wanted to let everyone's know our experience requesting a new date. My original date was the 4th but we were in Australia during that time so the we sent the request in on the 25th and received the new date on the 7th of April (dated 4th April). The new date is the 19th of April.

pretty straight forward.

Dammit, for some reason my code won't work at all. I know I had to wait until biometric, which was this week, but still nothing. Guess I'll have to wait and maybe call.

EDIT: so I have two different codes on my biometrics letter, the first won't show anything but the second says case received.

Mine also arrived at CSC on 3/29/17 at 10:06 in the morning according to the USPS tracking system.  I had USPS e-mail me the delivery confirmation just in case.  I called the USCIS call center and the greeting said that I have to be the applicant, the petitioner or the attorney of record for them to speak to me.  When a live representative came on the line they said that they can't speak to me without my wife (applicant) present, even though I am the spouse petitioner.  They said that there are no reported delays at CSC and that activity regarding the receipt and cashing of the check would be within 15-30 days.  I guess some others are just very fortunate to have their checks cashed within three or four days compared to some others.

Sent my package March 29, and they received it March 31. Got my NOA1 which is the extension letter April 14,2017 but The letter is dated March 31. I'm wonderin' why it took so long before I received it if it's been dated March 31. Now waiting for my biometrics appt letter. 🙏🏻

-------------------------------AOS TIMELINE-----------------------------
February 23,2015 - Sent in my AOS Application (I130, I485 and I765)
March 2, 2015 - AOS packet received in Chicago.
March 4, 2015 - AOS packet assigned to Missouri National Benefits Center. 3 emails received.
March 9, 2015 - Hard copies received for NOA1 for I-130, I-485 and I-765.
March 14, 2015 - Mail notice received for Biometrics appointment on March 23, 2015.
March 23, 2015 - Completed Biometrics at appointed time.
April 10, 2015 - Received an email notification for Interview appointment set on May 18, 2015.
May 18, 2015 - Interview day. APPROVED
May 23, 2015 - Received my 2years GC
------------------------------1-751 REMOVAL OF CONDITIONAL RESIDENCY-----------
March 30, 2017 - sent package to CSC
March 31, 2017 - package received at CSC

My NOA arrived on 4/13/17 with receipt date.of 3/29/17, which is the day that USPS said it was delivered. I believe the receipt date is based on the date stamp as recorded by their mail clerks, but the letter isn't actually sent until it is initially reviewed by the case worker.

Congratulations, good news !!

Just out of curiosity, none of my business, but why did you allow your husband's filing date to come so dangerously close to being out of status ?

There are sometimes good reasons for that but more often I see people waiting last second and then start panicking and flooding the forums with panicked questions regarding what will happen now as uscis did not cash the check yet or NOA 1 not having arrived yet.

Hi,

Thanks for the question and yes we do have a very good reason why we filed late. In fact, we've gathered all supporting documents 4 months prior but again something happened beyond our control.
