Question has anyone had any issues showing the extension letter to their employer? My GC expires May 5th, and i am thinking about presenting the letter just so they know.

It actually just arrived in the mail today. Appointment date is 4/18.

I just checked your dates on the spreadsheet though, and because we got our NOA1s the same date, but you sent yours earlier, I really wouldn't worry. I'd guess you'll get yours tomorrow or Monday, because it seems to be a little slower for whatever reason. I'm sorry though, I know it's stressful.

That's what the letter is for. :) Shouldn't give you any trouble. My husband used the extension letter to prove his status to a university he's going to attend, and they accepted it as proof and granted him in-state tuition rates. His employer is pretty oblivious and doesn't know his GC is about to expire, but if yours is more on the up and up, the letter grants you another year and serves as proof of that.

Well, I am now officially very nervous. I see all these posts about checks getting cashed in a few days and receiving the NOA quickly.  My USPS tracking number indicates that our I-751 packet was received by the CSC on the morning of 3/29/17 but the check still hasn't been cashed and we haven't received the NOA. Has anyone gone more than ten days before getting a response or check cashed going through the California Service Center?

I mailed mine to CSC 3/24 and it was received 4/25. My money hasn't been cashed yet, not have I received a NOA1. Try not to worry too much. CSC seems to have slowed a little.
