Package received - N/A - I used USPS priority with signature confirmation. Called them yesterday and USPS guy told me that their system was down so they lost tracking of the mails arrived that day. What the chances are! I have been checking to see if USCIS cashed my check. Nothing has been cashed yet... i am really anxious now...

Which one is your services center? And how long they took to cash your check?

See my original post .... VSC (Vermont Service Center). And I said in my post that they still haven't cashed my check...

Sorry that I forgot to post an update. I called the USCIS on 3/27 regarding this. They told me that they do not resend the first I-797 but will with the I-797C. Unfortunately we never received the I-797 and my wife needed that to renew her driver's license. We went again to our DMV and they eventually did accept the I-797C. 

Then today we got another letter from USCIS and I thought please don't be a RFE. Opened it up and it was the I-797 dated on 3/13/2017 original envelope stapled to the I-797 postmarked on 3/14/2017. It was sent to the right address originally but must have landed in the wrong mailbox and was sent back to the CSC. The letter contained the I-797 and an AR-11 for change of address. We have already done that so we can disregard the AR-11. 

We are grateful to finally receive it and will be talking with our HOA about inaccurate mail delivery.

Package delivered on 03/27 and my GC expired yesterday. The check haven't been cashed yet. I thought California was fast

 

Also, I sent them 2 check: one for I-751 and the other for Bio metrics. I see folks above sending just one. I am not sure if it matters
