Hey, jumping in curious how you both did! We filed our I-90 & on June 12th we had our biometrics appointment. They hadn’t taken any action on the case so we requested an expedite today via the service center, Tier 1 like Angelxx suggested. She took all the information & told us we’d hear within 5 days. I was wondering if either of you have received your cards yet. I’ve been absent from the forums for a bit because I’ve been so frustrated with all of this. Just hoping we all get our cards soon! 😊

Nope nothing here yet..Last update history online was this:  On June 15, 2018, your request to have your case expedited, referral number XXX, was completed.

Two possibilities: The new extension letter (which nobody has reported receiving yet) or an interview letter.

Exciting! Was your case transferred to TX or NE?

My case wasn’t transferred at all yet. I did inquire about my case about a month ago on the uscis website though. I don’t know if that matters. 😬😬

Got the same thing on USPS informed mail email this morning.

I'm crossing my fingers that this is a good sign.

Hi all - this is just an update, as I just got back from an Infopass appointment at the St Louis field office.

I went to have a stamp put in my passport as my extension letter ended this week. The woman who did the stamp for me, told me my case was still in CSC, and that the info on the system that 'my case has been moved to a field office', was basically immigration speak for, we moved it to a different room in the CSC. She also confirmed that the wait time for this now is at 42 months, I'm an April 2017 filer so she said I would most likely have to see her again next year for another extension stamp.

Well, I moved house this weekend, so I'll have to wait 3 months until I'm eligible to apply for citizenship (different state), but looks like I'll be doing that ASAP.  This process is utterly ridiculous.

What she said makes no sense. So what's the deal with 18-20 months they have on their website?

I've rarely had reason to trust the estimates on the website, but I can only tell you what she told me. When I said I was expecting to hear by the end of year, she looked stunned and laughed a bit before sharing the 42 months info

I was given similar info a month or two back at my infopass appointment.  They had a printed document with expected wait times and it showed around 36 months..

Not sure if you saw on NBC about an hour ago about the citizenship backlog too... sorry, I seem to be the bearer of bad news today
