@AnGeLxX you still haven't gotten your GC have you?

I was out of this thread for a while and spent time browsing N400 topics :)

USCIS knows how to scare me. Look what they sent me above.

Nope still nothing, they sent me a letter in the mail that I had to file for the I-90 so I did on June 1. Also I requested an expedite on June 14. I have some updates on the website under "Case History" about that, saying that the expedite was completed.

Haha yeah USCIS is confusing a lot of people. Maybe it's wrong...lol

OMG They sent me a notification that they reopened my case and are reconsidering their previous decision.

This freaked me out.

Please go back to page 171. I posted the photo in the last post of that page.

I am so worried now.

Submitted ROC  April 4th 2017. Submitted N400 April 06 2018 hoping it will push the application. Absolutely  nothing. Really frustrated and exhausted. I mistakenly rushed into a legal name change and now I am not allowed to update my SSN name until they see the actual card. May even affect my job applications as I am planning to relocate. I cannot believe what a nightmare this has been. Just wanted to share my frustration and experience with you guys. I hope everyone else is hanging in there. Congrats on those who got the good news! :)

How do you request to expedite?

I called USCIS and they basically said there is no tracking info for me, and that I just had to wait. hwne I asked to be transferred to tier 2, they said they couldn't becaues there is no tracking so there isn't a way to help me. So I'm like GREAT, i'll just wait until something happens.

Not a request to expedite. Generally people who apply for the N-400 have seen their case move a little faster. There were many positive responses for those who attempted. I did the same and nothing.

I requested an expedite on my I-90, because my ROC got approved in April and haven't received my green card. I called USCIS tier 1 and requested the expedite, she needed some information and asked questions and that's it. Very easy.

Hi all, I got 2 text messages same contents saying "Your case WACXXXXXXXXXX is now updated. Check "My Case Status" at www.uscis.gov." I went in to check and it did say

However, the status in https://my.uscis.gov/ still remained the same. Anyone got the same notice? Any insights? Does this mean interview coming soon?

did you get any official letter for the transfer? Some people here on VJ says when you DO NOT get an actual letter of the transfer just ignore it, it might be one of USCIS glitches.

Last April 9, 2018, I got a letter stating my case transfer to Nebraska dated April 4, 2018.. Until now I haven't got any updates.

we filed n400 almost a the same time (filed my online on April 7, 2018). When did you have your biometrics? I went to get my i-551 stamp last June 8, 2018 and got really confused on how USCIS works. The lady told me I shouldn't have filed n400 while my ROC is pending.

No I didn't get any actual mail. However, I'm also sure there's something weird going on with my mails the last couple days. The USPS daily digest kept telling me I got mails but I got no mails in my box since the 18th ... This two things just had to happen right at the same time  I been sitting on fire since the 18th not knowing what kind of mails I have been missing out on ... And the post office couldn't give me a concrete answer either ... I might get a heart attack from this

I hope you get their mails. If not you can always contact them. I wish you hear something about your case. We're all stuck.

It is hard to tell what is truly going on, but I always suggest not worrying until given a reason to worry. They may be processing additional checks or simply a procedural avenue that takes longer than expected. Or could be a computing error . If you really want to seal the approval, discuss the case with an attorney to see if you should be preparing for any surprises.

So I got 2 notifications this morning on DHS.

The first one freaked me out with “We reopened you case and are reconsidering our previous decision”

The second one followed with “We are producing your new card”

This is totally chaotic and crazy for me. So many notifications about “We approved your case” and “New card is being produced” and nothing came and now this.

has anyone had any experiences with this?

You are approved, I wouldn't freak out because I received one text saying that they have denial my petition and before that I received one text saying that case was approved so uscis has a lot of glitch at this time...so dont worry!! And congratulations!!
