Hi all, I got 2 text messages same contents saying "Your case WACXXXXXXXXXX is now updated. Check "My Case Status" at www.uscis.gov." I went in to check and it did say

However, the status in https://my.uscis.gov/ still remained the same. Anyone got the same notice? Any insights? Does this mean interview coming soon?

Nothing makes sense when it comes to USCIS. I would wait to see if you get a notice or if the status changes again within the next few days.

Did anyone else have their Green Card recalled due to the “resident since” date issue? Mine was but it’s been fixed and they’re sending it back now.

No, but I did get approved in April and never received my Green card.  So they told me to file for the I-90 and I requested an expedite.

Nope. My case was transferred on May 10, so I might hear something 6 weeks from then.

6 weeks is not a hard or fast rule as its been 2 months since mine was transferred! But hope you will hear from them soon.

Our automatic 1-year extension letter has now expired (over a month ago).  We have a trip abroad scheduled for this October.  We are starting to get concerned, given all the ####### this administration is pulling on the border.  Don't want my wife stuck without her kids.  Anyone have a sense of where things are?

Get an 1551 stamp in your passport.  You get that with an infopass appointment.  I recently travelled to NZ with one after my greencard extension expired.  Had no trouble getting into the USA, but had a LOT of issues boarding the plane in New Zealand as the ticketing desk had never seen one before and took 1.5 hours to actually give me my boarding pass after a lot of heated discussion.

As of June 11, 2018, petitioners who file Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, or Form I-829, Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions on Permanent Resident Status, will receive a Form I-797 receipt notice that can be presented with their Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card, as evidence of continued status for 18 months past the expiration date on their Permanent Resident Card.

We are making the change from 12 to 18 months because current processing times for Form I-751 and Form I-829 have increased over the past year.

Additionally, we will issue new Form I-797 receipt notices to eligible conditional permanent residents whose Form I-751 or I-829 was still pending as of June 11, 2018. Those Form I-797 receipt notices will also serve as evidence of continued status for 18 months past the expiration date on petitioner’s Permanent Resident Card.

As a reminder, conditional permanent residents who plan to be outside of the United States for a year or more should apply for a reentry permit by filing Form I-131, Application for Travel Document, before leaving the country. Read more information on our Green Card webpage.

Mostly the new applicants will get those new extension letters. I would suggest you get the I-551 stamp on your passport. You never know how long and when you will get that new letter.

So I got 2 notifications this morning on DHS.

The first one freaked me out with “We reopened you case and are reconsidering our previous decision”

The second one followed with “We are producing your new card”

This is totally chaotic and crazy for me. So many notifications about “We approved your case” and “New card is being produced” and nothing came and now this.

has anyone had any experiences with this?

@AnGeLxX you still haven't gotten your GC have you?

I was out of this thread for a while and spent time browsing N400 topics :)

USCIS knows how to scare me. Look what they sent me above.
