Haven’t heard anything. All update I have is they got my file and that they will reuse my biometrics. However after i filed, I also sent back the recall green card evidence of not receiving my green card...so don’t know which one is going to come first.

I just got 2 letters in the mail about my I-90. One that said thank you for submitting and next step is schedule an appointment for biometrics and the other one was about that they will reuse my biometrics <_<.

Hmmmm two contrasting mail. I think it's a good sign. It's unfortunate you have to wait that long since they approved your petition a long time ago. By the time you get your GC the summer will be over Lollzzz I hope not. Sending you positive vibes :)

You are welcome. Do you have any idea how long it will take for you to get your GC now? Did the helpline say anything helpful? In some cases, they give you a tracking number if they have mailed the card to you. It's been an unforgettable journey for you and all those who were caught in this GC error production :o I hope USCIS fire some of those employees for creating so much panic among the applicants.

I've been using the app 'case tracker' to do some investigation on cases. The app lets to bulk check case statuses, up to 500 at a time in a sequential order, and filter by case type.

To visualize, USCIS case numbers for CSC are in the format:

WAC-17-123-51234
    | | |
    | | |
    | | Case# on particular day (Always starts with 5, though cases with a transfer notice don't follow this rule.)
    | |
    | Number of days after October 1st (Excluding weekends & holidays)
    |
Financial year processed (In this case, Fscl. year 2017 starting Oct 1, 2016)

So I was trying to check what case numbers are approved and what aren't, and I wasn't having a lot of luck.

Do we have / know the first 5 digits of any CSC case number that's been approved? It would be easier than randomly guessing numbers and might be able to tell folks just how far along USCIS is processing cases at CSC.

For reference - My case number is WAC-17-118-xxxxx - if anyone hands out a case number please don't give the last 5 digits, and it's potentially personally identifying.

I have no idea. No the helpline was awful lol. She said they never sent my GC so she didn't had a tracking number for me. I had to wait for a response about my e-request. I got a letter on June the first telling me they did sent it but it never got returned to them so I can file for a I-90. Had to wait a month for that ugh..  My online update for my I-90 says this " On June 1, 2018, we received your Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card, Receipt Number ****, and mailed you a receipt notice. It is being processed at our Integrated Operating Env location."

The processing time for Potomac Service center for the I-90 is 9.5 to 11 months...  Better of filing for N-400 when we have the money for it.

based on the fact its a USCIS error you should request an expedite on your case they will ask for what error USCIS made you explain they didn't send your card etc and you have already been waiting a long time and they should approve your expedite and you'll have your card in 15 days.

Thanks! Is that something I can do online or do I need to call them? With the I-90 I already gave them the answer that it was an USCIS error and they waived my fees.

Edit: I can send them a message online with my USCIS account, maybe that will be easier?

you would have to call and request it. I had a bunch of issues this year with uscis first with the wrong resident since date then I filed the I-90 they denied it saying there was no error and then I requested an expedite on naturalization based on uscis error repeatedly and they schedule my n400 interview and few days before my interview they reopened the I-90 and also I got sent me the recall notice few days before they reopened the I-90. because of this error ive had two green cards sent to me one for recall and one for I-90 and I had my n400 interview done. when they mess up you shouldn't have to sit and suffer so make that call give them the i90 receipt and request an expedite based on error caused by uscis wait for email or letter from them asking for more evidence of uscis error if they need it and in no time you should be good

from my understanding the message doesn't necessarily go to the officer or the same service center the expedite however would go direct to someone in the officer where your case is being handled so calling would be best
