Did you ever get a letter that you were one of the recalled cards? I wonder what's going on with that because you and I are on similar timelines and mine was part of the recall.

No I didn't. I actually got a letter in the mail today that I need to file for form I-90 to get a new card ! <_<

I read that more people had to do this, is this something I can do online or what do you guys recommend doing? I'm not going to pay another I-90 fee and do biometrics. That is just....... lol

Yup I did it. Just go on the USCIS website and file online for I-90. Super easy. You’ll need to upload two documents (old green card and I thiiiiink the approval letter if I remember correctly). Then at the end, if u choose “never received green card” the fee is waived.

I'm doing it right now. In the beginning they are asking "Has your name legally changed since you received your Permanent Resident Card?  What I can choose from:

Yes

No

I never received my previous card

Do I need to choose "No" now and then at the end of the I-90 choose I never received it?

Thank you again for helping.

I put no because I had a PRC (the conditional one). Unless you’ve changed your name since the conditional one but technically you’ve had a PRC. They ask you at the end what happened and that’s when you pick u never received your card.

So today was my biometrics appointment. The operator did not have any information as to why I had to redo mine, even though they were not even 10 months old...

Anyway,

Hope to see some new action soon! The first CSC filers are now getting traction on their application, so I guess we'll see more and more of us get approvals, RFEs and interviews!

The saga continues :)

I got a letter from USCIS in Laguna Nigel, saying that that have been INCORRECT biometrics appointments sent out.

They should all have a date of MAY 4th, and related to I-751, and appointment dates between May 21 and June 1.

The error would be in the ASC location selected, as it could be far from my residence. In my case, it was my local one anyway, so no issue there. But others may have gotten a biometrics far away.

The suggestion is to either reschedule or do a local walk-in, or wait for a new appointment letter.

For me there was no impact though, so I should be good.

No email, TXT or case update on either of the 2 websites for this, by the way. Just appeared in my postal mail.

@relativeways How is your I-90 going?

Haven’t heard anything. All update I have is they got my file and that they will reuse my biometrics. However after i filed, I also sent back the recall green card evidence of not receiving my green card...so don’t know which one is going to come first.

just to share with everybody something I discovered when my N400 interview was scheduled if you want to know the date of your interview or if you have an interview before they send it to you simply go to the infopass page and under manage account select VIEW YOUR APPOINTMENT and  then fill out the section reprint appointment with your NAME & D.O.B then your interview will pop up the office and the date. A new trick I guess might be useful as ive realized they not only keep info pass appointment but also those with benefit interview etc
