Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words. Its so cool how we are all strangers but we understand each others frustration regarding this immigration journey,  more than any one else could. Someday soon it will be our turn to hear the happy news. Remembering the first days of our immigration journey, I would see ROC &N 400 applicants forum and would be like whoa, thats so far away but here we all are. Thanks to all of you who keep encouraging, supporting, sharing. Blessings🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼

It’s so true!! This group has been a real life saver in so many aspects. Others who haven’t been thru the process don’t get it. Sending all the good vibes your way you hear soon! 🌸😊🌸

Hey Guys,

I have a quick question. So I filed I751 on m03/17/17, got that letter that they transferred my case to Nebraska office on April 2018. the extension says my green card is good for another year (was supposed to be expired on 06/10/2017) so I assume the new exp date is 06/17/18. I still haven't heard back and unable to get an appointment with local office. Would they still give me another extension if I somehow able to make an appointment but after 06/10/18.

The extension stamp is not required until or unless you are traveling or switching a job. Your permanent resident status does not change due to your pending I751. You can get the extension stamp few weeks or a week before its expiration. You can get the I-551 stamp anytime after the expiration of your GC.

I hope they mailed it out. that would be disappointing if they did not.  so far i received all the notice by mail from Texas few days after they update my case status.

Congratulations on your approval!  Receiving the card is another story, April 12 is the supposed day they mailed ours also, but it was involved in the recall & we never received it. Today we got this email stating they DID mail it & we needed to pay again & have another biometrics appointment. I am LIVID!!!! We NEVER received it, why should we pay again???????? Tier 2 doesn’t help & the PO tracking states now it was remailed 5-7-18 today is 5-22 we would have gotten it by now! This whole thing is a complete nightmare which no one is taking responsibility for & thousands are suffering!!

I am sure you will get it from what I find on this site, TSC always mails out the card to you within 1-2 weeks after approved.

I would call USCIS ask a tier 2 officer to give you the tracking number 2 days after you got the case update. The USCIS officer I talked to told me they don’t advertise this but you can call and ask for the tracking number.
