Hi, the finger prints are valid for 15 months as per USCIS policy. I wonder why they sent you a new biometric appointment. I got a letter from Laguna Nigel, CA which is a transfer notice.

Seeing how I never got my first Biometrics letter, and when I called in last year, they sent me a new one for early July 2017, mine are not even a year old yet... Weird !

You are right it's strange but did you talk to someone over the USCIS helpline.

No, as there's no reason to call them. The Biometrics are in a few weeks, so I'll find out then :)

They may have just lost some data or something

:o ohhhh hell I ain't going to pay another fee to send another card. USCIS is out of their mind. I just sent an e-request, so we will see. If they give me the same response my husband is going to call haha he is tired of them.  Maybe you can call them and ask for a tracking number? That is what we are going to do next.

Has anyone gotten updates on where their cards are?? We have an inquiry stating they’ll notify us by 5-29, but the tracking number says the card is “pending scan” in Missouri. We are in RI....why are our cards in limbo? I tried to make an info pass appointment & they said none are available.

Nope nothing here. Haven't heard back yet. I don't have a tracking number either.  Maybe it takes longer because of this:

Well THAT explains it all!  They’re trying to catch up on all the recalls & ours is delayed. I hope when it finally comes it will have the correct date so we don’t have to wait for another. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Thanks for sharing this!

I just traveled back internationally with the stamp. Yes I did get a few questions from the flight people checking me in but I also had my approval letter and other documents with me just in case. It took a little longer but no issues. I also had to go into second processing when I landed since I had the stamp but that was very fast as well.

My immgriation person when I landed noted it was very strange that I still hadn’t gotten the physical green card and I need to go check up on it

Hi AngelXX

I think you are in the same boat as me. I called USCIS today - just talked to Tier 1, he was VERY helpful and waiting for a Tier 2 call back. Basically he said they don't advertise it, but 2 daysa fter you get your notice, you can call USCIS for the tracking number. He also told me that the officer at my field office should have given me a 1 year stamp, not a conditional 30 day one. I said yes for sure but I am definitely not in a position to argue :) and he said totally understand, but he shouldn't have done that! So good to know.

I asked him if my cards might have gotten mixed up with the batch that had the wrong "residence since" dates, and he said he doesn't think so since there was a card mail out notice for mine already.

Anyway, I just filed for an I-90 which is to replace my card. Since they nver delivered it to me - you do NOT have to pay for the fee! The call center guy told me that, and all I have to choose is "i did not receive the card from DHS" as an option. I filed online, very easy....now have another infopass appt on friday since my status expires in a week... :(

I received an email notification from USCIS last week (May 9 and 10, I think) that they've mailed me something. Finally the letter came in, and it was simply a transfer notice, saying;

In order to speed up processing, we transferred the application or petition ("your case") listed above to the following USCIS office for processing:

NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER, P.O. BOX 82521, Lincoln, NE 685012521

That office will notify you in writing when they make a decision on your case or if they need additional information.

The letter was from CSC, and I haven't submitted N400. Hopefully this transfer speeds up the process...

I got a notice yesterday saying the new card is being produced AGAIN.

OMG I don't think we'll have it in hand anytime soon :(
