I just received an email like below:

Your Case Status: Initial Review

On May 9, 2018, we transferred your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number WAC1234567890, to another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice. The notice explains why we transferred your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by June 8, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators.(the email continues more)

I should probably just wait for the notice letter to see what they're asking for. Does anyone know if I would be summoned to present there with my ex-husband if this notice is for an interview? And what would happen to me if he can't make it to the interview, or refuses to show up? (the worst case scenario that would most likely happen is that he would overlook the notice to show up!)

CSC Filer. I got this:

"Application Type: I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE

Your Case Status: Initial Review

On May 9, 2018, we transferred your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number *************, to another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice.

USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators. If you have filed an I-485, I-589, I-751, N-400, I-90, I-821, I-131 or I-765, you can expect to receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints and/or photographs taken. The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment. We try to schedule biometric appointments as quickly as possible and in most cases you will receive your appointment notice within 30 days of submitting your application. We will send your appointment notice approximately 14 days ahead of your scheduled appointment. It is important that you keep this appointment. If absolutely necessary, you can request that your appointment be rescheduled however, please be aware that rescheduling may delay the processing of your application. Please follow the instructions on your appointment notice if you need to reschedule. Occasionally, you may receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints taken when you have filed a form other than those listed above. In these situations, you may receive your appointment notice more than 30 days after submitting your application or petition. "

Went to get my passport stamped with an extension yesterday. The guy said that now they take 2 years to approve i751 and since I applied for citizenship in February, whichever case comes they get to first will be processed.

No filed in CSC then moved to Maryland in August.  If this is a signal that my case is moving along I might hold off on filing the N400 straight away (forms are currently on the table)

I received another email this afternoon too. I haven't filed N400 or moved. I wonder this is real or glitch again.

I got a transfer letter today also. Mine went to NBC in Lee Summit Mo as well (think for i751). Today I got an email that an Interview has been scheduled for our N400.

That is super exciting.  Congratulations!  When is your interview?  When did you apply for the n400?  So, the letter arrived today; did you get a status update on May 1 like many of us did (then the letter arrived the 8th)?

We had two transfer notifications.  One letter told us it went to the NBC.  We haven't received the second letter yet.

Thanks everyone. Helpline said it’s “stuck” in Missouri & we should have gotten it, they gave us a tracking number. My hubby doesn’t have a DL, just Canadian passport, SS card & greencard, but that’s good news about eVerify. He starts a new job Monday. 😊 today is officially a month since it’s been “mailed”.

As some of you may have read, as a CSC filer, I was not expecting a response for another few months, but after the "weird" late FEB 2018 transfers, I got a bunch of mails and TXT messages saying my case got transferred on APR 16.

The NOA for that notice arrived in the mail today, and guess what...

SENDER: USCIS POTOMAC SERVICE CENTER (Arlington, VA)

Notice Type: TRANSFER NOTICE

"In order TO SPEED UP PROCESSING, your case has been transferred to:

CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER, Laguna Miguel"

So, I have NO clue what's going on here... Are they storing ALL the I-751s off-site to have them safe, and then transport them in batches to CSC for processing?

Why is USCIS sending me a letter from Arlington, VA? Or is that what happened with the FEB 2018 transfers? I sent my initial packet to CSC back in MAR 2017, so no clue why it's being transferred there now, as it should have been there for over a year!

Since the 16th, I've received more mails and TXTs regarding transfers, so if there are more letters coming in next week, will keep you updated...

*SIGH*

So WITHOUT any mails or TXTs, I got a new letter today from USCIS in Laguna Niguel, CA.

It's a NEW appointment for BIOMETRICS.

Is it normal to get a second biometrics appointment? Note, I did NOT yet file my N-400! So it's not from that.

That said, is there any other CSC filer that has seen any REAL action on their application?

NOTE to everybody: If you get a letter from USCIS, note the address it was sent from, and include the origin when you're mentioning your letters here. I've had letters from Arlington, VA and from Laguna Niguel, CA.

Good luck everybody, will keep you guys updated as things progress!

Hi, the finger prints are valid for 15 months as per USCIS policy. I wonder why they sent you a new biometric appointment. I got a letter from Laguna Nigel, CA which is a transfer notice.
