Hello Everyone

I just got my I-551 stamp this afternoon, I kept the form I-797 and Green Card the officer did not ask for them.

I received the notice on 05/03 about the transfer to a new Jurisdiction and asked the agent about it.

He told me it was transfer to the USCIS center in Missouri.

Apparently it won’t speed up or slow down the process it will take 17.5 to 19 months from the date they received my application before to get the 10 years GC.

We are in the same boat regarding the transfer of our ROC case to another office. We have our N-400 in play also.

Timeline of both cases:

March 13, 2017 Started the ROC Process

March 16, 2018 Sent N-400

April 17th Biometrics for N-400

April 20th info pass to local office for the I-551 stamp.  We were way to early and need to return 2 weeks prior to the extension letter expiring. IO indicated that our N-400 might be approved before the ROC. Checked on our case and provided an update.

May 3rd Received the email that our case was ROC case transferred to  another office

May 7th Received N-400 update - We scheduled an interview for your Form N-400

Now waiting for both letters to arrive.  Any guesses on when we will have the interview?

June 11 - "Welcome to America" letter received!!!!!! WE WENT GREEN!
March 10 - Packet sent to CSC
March 13 - Delivered
March 15 - Check Cashed
March 17 - NOA Arrived

You will get the letter at least a month before your naturalization interview. In a day or two, you will be able to view your interview letter online. The mail will take few days or up to a week to be delivered to you. Glad to see progress at your end, regards.

Ugh it’s taking so long!  My hubby is having a hard time getting a new job bevause if this. They don’t understand the letter stating it’s comimg. Congrats everyone who’s been approved!

Aww. I got hired on April 4th, ROC approved on april 8th. They never asked for my Green card status. SSN and Driver license was enough.  I thought they couldn't deny somebody over that? For the I-9 form SSN and DL is enough!

Nothing yet. I also have been traveling so can’t check my mail...but I would assume that if you haven’t gotten it, then I haven’t either. I have already booked an INFOPASS appointment again on May 18th as my stamp expires the week after...

Ah okay. I don't have a stamp lol. Good luck!

Yeah I know it's not fun calling the misinformation line and then wait in the queue forever. You might get it this week hopefully :)

Most companies run "e-Verify", so with your SSN they should be fine. I seem to remember HR took down some details on my GC back in the day.

If the employer does not run e-Verify, they may indeed need a proof of eligibility to work in the US

Our Case was transferred to the NBC in Lee's Summit, MO too.  We have another letter coming we think as we were told it was transferred twice.  Lee's Summit office is about 20 minutes from our house.  We are hoping if it had to be transferred, it went to the Overland Park, KS or Kansas City, MO office.  Both of those are about 20-30 minutes from us too.  Maybe we'll get letter #2 tomorrow.

Hello

The agent from USCIS said it will take 17.5-19 months from the day it was received so for us it means that around August/September we should get our 10 years green card.

He told me that being transferred won't impact positively or negatively the processing time.

So, you guys received a letter mailed from USCIS? Has your status been updated online too? My online status still says transferred in early March... This whole process really challenges my patience....

Hi,  Just check online for my husband's case, it said transfer to local office on beginning of March, during the time of ROC, we can apply N-400 at the same time too?

also during the ROC period, my husband went back to his own country for emergency, does that affect him to apply for N-400?

Thank you!
