So this is my dilemma...

I have to travel next week internationally for a wedding on May 4th. I have an infopass scheduled for April 30th. I’m going to go get a stamp just in case I don’t get my physical green card by then but I’m hoping they don’t deny me. This is so frustrating!!!

Hi VJ friends! Just like many of you I also received my application was sent to local office on feb 26 with no letter following that on the mail. When I sent an inquiry about my case they just basically reaffirmed what the website said. Just right now though I received an email saying “there are still reviewing your case and there are no updates. We last took action on your case on March 29,2018” so I Go back to check my status on the website and it still gives me that the case was transferred to local office 2/26” did anyone receive similar situation lately?

You're good to go with the stamp since it acts as the temporary GC.

I totally feel you in this waiting game :(

Any March 2017 CSC filers have any updates? As for me, I sent an electronic request last week, nothing in response yet. I went in for an infopass this morning to get extension. Big mistake ... My first extension (i-797 receipt) wouldn't expire until June 6th. I heard it was okay to come within 90 days of expiration to get an extension; therefore, I went in today. The officer took my passport and gave me a 6months stamp dated TODAY 04/26/2018, expires 10/26/2018. I just lost 2 months of extension time. He clipped my green card, and crossed out the entire i-797 letter with a pen. So both of those are now invalid. This is Chicago field office FYI.

No, to be honest I don't want to deal with USCIS haha. I just wait, I don't have any plans to travel outside the US.

A CSC filer here. My status was updated late Feb as my application was transferred to the local office, and again I got the same update on early March. Since then, I filed an electronic inquiry and received an answer that it's still within a normal time frame. Ok, I'll wait.

This morning, I received an email from USCIS saying "We will noritfy you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on July 20, 2017.", though I didn't submit another electronic inquiry. I wonder what they were trying to tell me...

VSC, I received my Greencard 3 weeks ago.

Yes I saw your comment, but I got confused because I realized in your profile that your local field office is Phoenix, AZ. Which means your service center should be CSC
But I thought that there is something wrong "in my information", but I got a very small hope that CSC moves faster if you apllied for N-400.
