Hello,

I got a transfer notice dated Apr 6 that says after preliminary review my case was transferred to NBC in MO. I applied for citizenship also on April 1st. Online I had a transfer notice from April 6th and another transfer notice from April 10th and I have not gotten that letter yet... Is this normal for those who filed the N-400 while I-751 was pending? Thanks!

hello Pavirotti,

I am CSC filler, I did N400 too, and I had a noticed mail said that my case was transferred to NBC as well but my status on USCIS didn't change.

Hi there kabayan, my case was transferred too to a local office , they transferred it to Texas , just hoping that the processing would go much faster, i think they did that to most of the California filiers because of the overload that they have. I just have my fingers crossed and hoping for good news this week.

CSC filer here, so I was still ready to wait another 6-7 months, but got a bunch of mails last night from my.uscis.gov.

Like most, I had the "transfer" thing happen late FEB 2018, but yesterday, a series of transfers:

April 16, 2018

We transferred your case to another USCIS office for processing

As I have NOT filed for my N-400, I'm not sure why they're transferring cases now, but at least something is moving :)

Yeah, you could hear from them pretty soon. It's a good news, regards.

I filed in early march 2017, went to California where it sat. I filed for my n-400 a few weeks ago and my removal of conditions went to Nebraska. No news, no time-frame for the i-751 on the Nebraska time-frames page. Bio-metrics for n-400 on Tuesday.

I've gotten a notice that My Case got approved on 04/17/18, even though the card was being produced on 04/14/18 LOL

Can't wait to have the GC in hand :)

Wonderful news. Another VSC bites the dust.  Have you since applied for naturalization?

Great news.  Is it typical for biometrics to happen within a few weeks of sending in N-400?  Also, did you e-file?

Now it started making me worry,  as I'm also CSC filer who hasn't filed N-400 and my status online hasn't been updated since "transfer" in late Feb 2018. Hope mine is in the next batch of local office transfer. #FingersCrossed.
