Today I had an infopass appointment as my wife's GC extension letter is expiring in a month.

The clerk confirmed California is super backlogged (as we all know) and hinted that there are more interviews than normal taking place, adding to the backlog.

They also said that if we make another appointment and my wife comes with her passport they can stamp it adding another year of viability while we wait for the 10 year card to process.

PLEASE EXPLAIN.....I CANT SEE IT ...

Go here, write the receipt number written on the bottom of your NOA1 letter starting with the letters 'WAC'. Keep in mind, there are two receipt numbers. One usually says something like 'my fees were waived'. It's the other one that you want to look at for updates. Hope this helps!

For anyone who’s interested in my timeline, here it is:

March 10, 17: received ROC

April 13, 17: Biometrics

Feb 25,26 2017: case received at local office

March 28, 18: RFE (marriage certificate)

Yes indeed. Have you started your N400? I seriously thought I would have to wait at least 17 days like you did. Phewwww one burden off.
