hello everyone,

I am an I-751 Mar 2017 filler. Today I received a letter from CSC said that my case was transferred to national benefits center. Is there anybody in the same boat with me, and what does it mean? thanks

I wouldn't be overly surprised.  Sometimes files get rerouted via NBC.  Chances are you will receive new notification shortly of something different....eg, your N-400 has arrived at the local field office or your being scheduled for an interview.  Hang tight.

Gaaaah!! Congrats! Where’d you get notice if not online?  Where’s ourrrrs?!!

It came in our mailbox. The online still haven’t updated yet. It was USPS infirm digest that let me know that I was getting a mail today. The NOA said they will take up to 60days for the card to be mailed to me.

It it was a nice surprise. And don’t worry, your’s will come too. Did you submit the inquiry? My NOA has the same date of inquiry submission so I am guessing it did do something good. 😂

Filed our I-751 March 20, California office received it March 22.

Still nothing in the mail.  It seems like it's taking longer than most people to get the 1st NOA. Is there anything to worry about?

This is the March 2017 group ...we are already receiving or waiting for approvals

Received RFE yesterday because we filed 5 days late. We only need to submit a letter stating why in good cause we were late. After reading the forums, seems we should have included a Cover letter stating why we were late saving us from this dreadful RFE with our original post. Anyone who is reading this for 2018 and thinking of submitting on the cusp of your expiration, don't do it. Submit early. Mad our lawyer who submitted everything for us didn't mention any of this. We thought the 90 days was a grace period post expiration not before (Our dumb fault).

None of the online status checkers are updated. Still Received at Local Office.

Wish us luck!

Better to get the RFE than outright rejection.  You very well could have received a notice to appear in front of the court.

What a terrible attorney, we didn't go through one for the i-751 but we did with the AOS.  I interviewed at least 10 lawyers before choosing one.  Most were not impressive at all.  Good luck with everything.

As long as your marriage is legitimate you can at least rest easy that they're not looking for excuses to break up real marriages, just find the green card hunters lol
