Hey everyone! Just wanted to give an update. Hubby last spoke with a T2 on 3/3/18 to inquire about the name update thing. She said to call back in 10 days if we hadn’t heard anything. Fast forward 10 days (3/13), hubby calls and she refuses to transfer him to a T2 stating “you really need to give it the full 10 days. You’ll need to call back.” Sigh. So he called today 3/14, and asked for a T2, they were busy but said they’d call back in 25 mins and they did.  Hubby inquires and mentions it’s been 10 days so looking for an update. She asked if he had received anything in the mail - he says no.  She puts him on hold for a couple mins, comes back and says “everything looks good on your case. You should be getting your card soon”.  Hubby asks if he’s approved. She says “don’t worry sir, everything looks good and you’ll be receiving your letter shortly. It looks like it was mailed out yesterday 3/13.”  We don’t know if the letter is the Approval or or maybe the actual card?  Whatever it is, if the T2 is right - looks like we’re getting approved finally.  Fingers crossed. But we won’t believe anything until we see it with our own eyes! LOL We are a VSC  3/30/17 filer. Case transfer notification on 2/27/18 and Name Update notification on 3/3/18. No other movement or updates.

Great news and congrats! When you call, do you ask to speak to a Tier 2 immediately? I feel bad kind of going above the person I'm talking to as soon as I call especially because they can get an attitude.

Got an Update this morning that my DATE OF BIRTH has been updated then 1 minute after my NAME has been updated.

I got two emails too. "We corrected your name for your case & We corrected your DOB for your case". No idea what that means. VSC filer here - Dec 25th, 2016 NOA.

Thanks! Yes he asked right away this time because he was told to check back 10 days previous after speaking with a T2 at that time. Sometimes as I mentioned though, they won’t transfer you.

I’ll bet you’re getting approved very soon! We just had very similar and just this morning WE WERE APPROVED!!

So finally after checking the DHS website this morning - WE WERE APROVED!!

Hi all,

 

We received an RFE [NOA 3/27/17] because I (arrogantly) only submitted 1 month's bank statement and 1 year's IRS transcript  (2015)

 

Would you say the following additional information would satisfy as financial co-mingling?

1095C forms - to show shared healthcare coverage for FY 2016 and 2017

Add'l year of IRS transcript (2016) - haven't filed 2017 yet

Add'l bank statements (one every 3 months)

Add'l 401k statements that show beneficiary name at the bottom

 

Unfortunately, I don't have my wife's name on the house deed/mortgages (was purchased before we got married) nor any utility bills. To further complicate things the house was purchased by me with my parents (all 3 names are on the deed and mortgage) before I got married.  Can I explain this in a letter and attach it or should I get my wife's name added before resubmitting the evidence?

 

Furthermore; we have no children, no joint debt (she has student loans), will, trust, etc.
