Has anyone here received their GC after 2 weeks of receiving their approval letter?..

is there anywhere I can call to find out or anything I can do to speed the process rather than just waiting around?..

im panicking because I’m travelling on the 18th and scared I won’t receive it in time.

Any help would be much appreciated

Your wife is not out of status and you can get an I-551 stamp few weeks before the GC expiration. Appointments are available now I just checked them. Your wife can file for naturalization with a pending I-751 in this way she could save time. CSC is taking on average 18 months to approve applicants and you have nothing to worry.

Thanks for your response! I was able to grab an appointment slot in a couple weeks. Her card will be expired by then, but only by a few days. Regarding naturalization, thanks for the heads up but she's not ready for that step yet.

You are welcome my friend, glad to hear that you got the appointment. Anyway, the weather is not bad in Portland can't wait for the summer :)  Regards

Hi All, I am sure this question has been asked already, but does applying for your N-400 while the I-751 is pending slow down the process even further? I filed my n-400 in February 2018 at the Chicago local office and my i751 in March 2017 at CSC.

I have been waiting for my ROC for 12 months now, and now worried that i may have made it worse by filing my N-400 early.

Anybody know's if this is truly the case?

Thanks,

Anyone else got any updates from USCIS after the case status changed to "transferred to local office"? If there were a letter to be sent out, when should we expect it? My case status was updated twice, once on 02/26 then 03/04.

May filer here but following this thread.

I put in a service request for the transfer since I´ve never got anything in the mail.

Today, the status on case changed, saying: " On March 8, 2018, your inquiry about a notice that you did not receive, referral number XXX, was assigned to an officer for response."

So, I am very curious what their answer will be! Btw, my status changed on Feb. 25th and again on 26th, but no change after that.

Interesting, so the case status seems to be quite accurate... Anyhow, please keep me posted of what's coming next. I'm sitting on fire atm, to be honest
