Nope, just a page where they talk about that they do sometime transfer cases. Nothing really about what happened the last few days.

Aloha everyone. I'm new to the group, (been a silent follower since I discovered this) and so I have a question, I hope someone can help. I did file my I-751 last March 2017, am I able to apply for naturalization while this process is still pending? Or do I need to wait for my GC?

Also I tried to get a I-551 stamp from our local office here, but the lady said since my original GC had an expiration date of 04/22/17 it's still good until 04/22/18 so she didn't gave me a stamp. Is that okay? I just wanted to get one just in case there is an emergency back at home and I would need to fly at once you know.

Hi there, Welcome to the party. Yes, you can file for naturalization with pending I-751. You are eligible for naturalization 90 days before the third anniversary of your GC. You can schedule an infopass a week or 2 weeks before your GC expiration or somewhere closer to expiration and get I-551 stamp on your passport.

All CSC & VSC please update the spreadsheet at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1f-s4KWngNgoKROS9-8Lc739ZCJJTDXIpMTy_8hi15r4/edit#gid=0

write your comments if your file is transferred to the local field office.

My date is March 10th and its almost about to be a year and I am at CSC, with the currently 6 - 7 months or who knows may be faster if some miracle happens.

I noticed that in the "Next Steps" Section under where it says "Case was received at my local office," It says"We will prepare your case for officer review." Does this mean I might have an interview? We submitted all our paperwork in late March 2017. Seems kinda late for that now..

I dont think it's an interview, that means an OI assigned to your case and currently reviewing your case. The IO officer will evaluate if yous case is in need for an interview or approval without the interview. Lets hope an approval not an interview. :)

As always.. USCIS has not failed to confuse us. I would suggest talking to a tier 2 and see what they say.. although that might confuse you more.

Looks like you are a Vermont filer. Can you please tell what date you filed?
