Hello every one

I don't know if I should be worried or not

my I-751 application was delivered to Vermont service center on Feb. 24., Friday. based on USPS tracking.

today is March 1, Wednesday and the Moneygram Money Order has not been cashed yet.

So today is the fourth business day they received the application and money order still not cashed :(

It can take up to 30 days before they do it often it's before though. So just keep an eye on it.

Good luck :)

Thanks for that info

so is it possible I receive NOA 1 even though they have not cashed it yet?

I mean do they send NOA 1 and after cashing it?

Yes they will cash it first since the NOA1 is an acceptance of your case. If they gave the NOA1 without cashing the check I think the would have a problem if then something was wrong with the check. If that makes sense.

yes it does make a sense but I am pretty sure they will make sure they get money and only after that send NOA 1

I was just worried because what I read over this forum every one says they cash money the second day. maximum the third day of receipt of application

and mine is the 4 th day pretty much , and mine is money order not personal check. guess money order takes time? I don't know :(

I sent in a check and they didn't cash it for 7 days so I don't think you have anything to worry about just yet.  Did you send it to VT or CA?  If VT, they are super slow!!  Hang in there!  :D

vt is so much slower than CA. when i bought the money order, i paid right there ( at the post office) the money gets taken from my account the day i buy it.

there's no way to know when VT cashes it.

but regardless my NOA took about 3 weeks to arrive. with a date 3-4 days after they received it
