Is there a forum on this site for people who want to meet/talk to other people in the same situation?

Hi everyone!

 

I moved to Boston from Montreal around 5 months ago, my husband and I got married on Halloween and I'm still waiting for my AED so there isn't much for me to do. Overall, things are good and while I do like my husbands friends, I'm starting to want to have my own social life here which is pretty hard considering I can't work.

 

I know there are tons of us in this situation so I was wondering if there's a place on Visajourney (or other websites) to find people even if it's just to chat online.

If you go into the "Portals" section on top of the home page, it will show you your country portal.

 

Then on the left side of the screen it will show you members near your area where you live. Perhaps can message some of them and maybe get a friend group going.

Many of us just start a thread in Off Topics or the Regional forums and chat.

There's an active Scandinavian thread here on VJ and we also have a Facebook group.
