I feel you but it takes between 3 to 4 months(the average waiting time is 100 days as of right now) until you receive your EAD in the mail. Try to find new friends, go to the mall, explore the city or area you live in. 100 days will go by fast. :)

Wait, what??? I thought it can take up to a year until you receive your GC in the mail. Reading news like this is great.

I will wait and see what happens. I should get updates soon because I have my Biometrics appointment tomorrow.

@Becci391it does in most cases but we are praying and hoping ours doesn't or wouldn't take that long. Fingers crossed. Good luck to you and all of us.

I received my Biometrics appointment letter almost 2 weeks ago.

I probably get ab RFE/RFIE because I only submitted my husband's 2015 tax retun but no letter of employment or pay stubs...and I don't know why 🙈😂

Hey Becci They do not request any employment letter and pay stubs I received RFIE for I864 because mine was not enough. According to the yellow papers they sent for my husband they only requested W2 but me I sent everything employment letter pay stubs.

Question to those of you who got RFE/RFIE -

How long after receiving NOA did you gor RFE/RFIE?

I know there's no "standard" wait time for it, but I'm trying to figure out when would be the best time to call and ask about the status of my EAD expedition.

Thanks!

My husband makes enough money. Like I said, we only sent his 2015 tax return. Three weeks later I noticed that we have forgotten to send pay stubs and other documents to proof his annual income. That's why I thought I would receive an RFE/RFIE for that.

I'm wondering if I should call and ask to make sure they didn't "misplace" my request to expedite EAD. I can wait for the GC as long as they want, but this damn EAD... I'm assuming I won't hear about it until after biometrics appointment, but I'd like to know if I should prepare myself, my employer, and my budget for being out of job for a month :/ I hate waiting, and as every control freak hate being helpless.  I'll wait until I get my paper NOA in mail and call them I think.
