Guys, I need help, please.

We don't know exactly what they are asking as to send as an RFIE. How to reach someone and ask in person about the info? Where?Do you have any number? That info number from USCIS is stuppid. Only machine. Our case is processed by National Benefit Center.

Hello! Many people here have talked about this, but I think you need to wait until you receive the RFIE in mail in order to find out what exactly they are asking for.

But from what I learned from other people's experience, an RFIE means you are either missing or filled out wrong one or more of the forms you were required for an initial submission.

Did you already receive one? As for the number, I'm not sure where exactly you need to call, I'm sorry...maybe someone here could help you with that.

But I still understand your frustration, we tried to call USCIS prior to sending our AOS package, and it was NOT a pleasant experience.

Be sure to keep us updated on your case! (if any of the information I wrote above is wrong, please let me know. I would love to educate myself more on the AOS process).

Hello mates ,

Y'all won't believe what I'm seeing now, I never had an idea my non-working wife was suppose to fill out the i-864 too I only sent the one filled by my father in-law whome we share same adress as the joint sponsor.should I wait for the rfe ? My biometrics is tomorrow in Albany centre anyways

Hi, Soft

Since your wife is the primary sponsor, she really should fill an I-864 and then your father in law's the supplementary.

It's the same thing with mine, though my husband is working, his income is not enough so the lawyer did his and then my mother in law's is the supplementary.

I think waiting for the RFE notice before sending them anything is the best option because when we received our RFIE, they instructed us to submit the requested documents together with the notice itself.

Good luck to you and to all of us!

Hi, @Becci391 and @atuegwu

Actually, my lawyer advised me something like this before he started my case, he said there is a big possibility that my EAD/AP card would be useless because the latest timelines based on his clients with the same situation is that they get interviewed before they received the EAD cards.

I am of course skeptical but still the hoping is there :)

if it happens then it would be really nice!

More news like that would be great.

You're welcome. And I think you case will be fine, you seem to be well prepared for this!

If you don't mind and your time allows, please share what the RFIE said, so maybe someone with a similar experience can learn something from it.

Anyways, good luck!!!

Thank you. Our RFIE was about I-864. We just need a proof that both father in low (sponsor) and my husband live on the same adresse. They have two houses (In two states). USCIS just want us to show that for both of them this is a primary adresse. But they are asking for tax reports or something like that and we don't have that because his parents just moved to this house permanently, last week. They just make it a primary adresse here.
