Please ignore what atuegwu said, it is wrong unless you're also filing form I-130.

The only G-325A that is needed is from the foreign spouse filing. Nothing from the US husband / wife is needed besides the I-864 stuff.

ok, thank you :)

i wish it didn't take this long, at least for work permit. :/

Ok so I'm going back and forth between this thread and March thread because I did not know which month I was considered to be a filer of! Sent trackable package via 2 day shipping to Chicago for $7.92 on 2/25 (Saturday) it was received 2/27 per the tracking info. Got our 3 I-797 forms in mail today and it shows Received Date as 2/27 and Notice Date as of 3/3/2017. That $8 shipping was well worth it!!! MSC tracking numbers still do not show up in the system and Tier 2 calls are still not accepted in the afternoons. Our NOA did show correct birthdate and alien number and had no blank boxes so that problem has been fixed it seems.

that is awesome. congratulations. I believe in my own opinion that you belong to the March 2017 filers. I sent my packet on the 02/22/2017 and was received on the 02/25/2017, received 3 NOA1 text and emails on the 03/06/2017 and yet to get my receipts in the mail, so that makes us march, 2017 filers. good luck to us all and congrats again. as par the tracking I think it will come up when the update your status in their system but that does not mean they aren't working on your case.

Patience is our watchword. cheers!

You will get new receipt numbers for each application. If adjusting from K1, your application will likely be routed to the NBC (national benefits center), also known as the Missouri Service Center. Your case number will start with the letters MSC.

congratulations for sending out your packet, it would have been in processing now and your check likely cashed this week while you will also very much likely receive your NOA1 texts and email. good luck.

I was told by a lady from USCIS that there's a backlog at the facility in Chicago.

Might take some time until you hear back from USCIS and receive your emails and NOA1s.
