Greeting to all,

I filed my AOS (along with EAD and AP) on 03/10 and  USCIS accepted it on 03/20.  I received 3 NOA letters a week later (03/26 )in mail. 

I was wondering about biometrics.

  • Do they update it in USCIS case tracking page?
  • Also is there a rough estimate of how long will it take to get this appointment letter after AOS has been accepted?

01/02/2016 I-130 NOA2 (I-130 approved)

02/25/2016 Received by NVC

05/11/2016 Received DS-261 and AOS invoice

You should get the letter in the mail this week.

08/16/19: sent I-751 packet to USCIS Lockbox in Dallas

08/19/19: packet received by USCIS

08/21/19: received text message with case number ( Texas Service Center)

08/23/19: check got chashed

08/26/19: received extension letter in the mail

11/14/19: Biometrics appointment

04/28/20: case got transferred to my local field office in Atlanta

05/28/20: New Card Is Being Produced

05/29/20: New Card Got Approved

06/02/20: We Mailed Your New Card

I got a notification that I have an RFIE for our I-485. I'm not sure what it could be :( probably his foreign birth certificate. Iran hoesnt have birth certificates, so we have his national ID and translation. It has all the same info as a birth cert though (parents names, DOB, city of birth) and government stamps. Sigh... i hope this doesn't delay his EAD renewal

03-28-2017 NOA1 Text and Email notifications received

04-03-2017 NOA1 documents received in the mail

Update: we called and opened service tickets for the incorrect A-number on our NOAs. We also scheduled an InfoPass appointment for next week. Hopefully the RFIE document comes this week so we can sort out what they need.

Is your case also related to having more than one A-number. My lawyer said it really shouldn't be an issue as they merge both numbers into a file and the A-number what you receive during AOS is the real Alien Number which will be printed on your GC.

Late to joining this form! Filed on march 15th and have not received NOA1 now I think I know why!! Oh !!! Now I need to go home and check to see if the forms we sent are expired!!! Hopefully we are good at they are late with the NOA1 but sadly I don't think so!!!

We are on the same boat. I also filed on the 15th, delivered by 16th, but I still haven't heard anything.

As for your RFIE, I would guess you will get the notice tomorrow coz my RFIE was mailed March 27th and we received the notice on the 31st. 

Hang in there! We will all get through this!
