I got the mail from USCIS. And i am sorry but this is very stupid mail i have ever got.

Ok, they say my joint sponsor's income is enough. They just need proofs for it.

And the other page says my joint sponsor's income is not over the poverty line. (which is bullshit he earns 150k per year)

I really don't know, they didn't accept my birth certificate which it is original document that i got from turkey. I checked the site i got right thing for birth certificate, it can't be wrong, their embassy accepted the same birth certificate. I guess i am gonna send the same thing.

Do you think i should send i-865 for my co-sponsor again? But the first thing they asked is pay stubs and tax transcripts etc. Second page says ohh wait the income is not enough for your co-sponsor. Which is stupid....

Sorry to hear that.. Is your birh certificate translated to english ? .. And how many people are in the sponsor's household.. I think a pay stub or a letter will solve your proplem

Oh I thought you can still do it after the 90 days expired. My 90 days expired a while ago. Oh well. I can still drive with my German license for about a other month but after that I'll be stuck not being able to drive.

Well, I sent the documents last Thursday to avoid an RFE. I guess I spent $6,65 on nothing because I have to send all the documents again. I'm so stupid 🙈🙈🙈

You are not my dear. Assume it is one of the endless sacrifice for this journey. Good luck.

I sent my K1 AOS package  by Fedex on March 23. It arrived on March 29. Now it is April 3, and I am still waiting to receive the email from USCIS that they received it.

It is always a frustrating thing to wait endlessly with no ideas of what is happening to your application but in all please stay strong and positive, I pray everything fall into place for us all soon. Good luck

Hi.  I've been stressing about my AOS, Ead, AP status.

All of the forms arrived in Chicago on 3/13. I have not received any notification and my check has not been cashed. I didn't expect to have to wait this long for the NOA, its been 3 weeks!  I called USCIS on friday, and one of the agents had me put on a list for another agent to call me back later and help with the case, sadly i wasn't available and didn't talk with them when they called.  So i called back later in the day, talked with a different agent, and they said i would have to call back after 30 days of it being received at the Chicago lockbox.  I'm thinking of calling back tomorrow and trying to talk with an agent that will look into my case.

so 3 weeks officially today, anybody else with a similar wait time?

@Bobbybigboob and @Denis & Santhis is obviously the most frustrating moments in each of our lives, sometimes I wonder if the USCIS intentionally do this to get some of us to the breaking point of deciding to go back home or out of being mean or personnel incompetence or ineptitude, but whatever reasons this actions are, I encourage all of us to stay positive and strong please, I know it is easier said than accepting it but this is the only way all of us could survive this trying times. Good luck.

Same here.  Same exact timeline.  Sent AOS package on 3/9/17 and they it was received and signed for on Sunday 3/12/17 at night.  Basically, it arrived there on 3/13/17.  Still no NOA and check hasn't been cashed.  It's been exactly 21 days now.  I sent an email to Chicago Lockbox support today asking them status.  Will see when that gets answered, but on their website, it also states to contact them after 30 days if you don't hear from them.  I sent my email to them early since it mentions that it can take up to 15 business days for someone to respond, so I figure by the time someone takes a look, it will be past 30 days.

This is unbelievable, how can this be from such a high rated organization. All the same, like others said, double-check the co-sponsor's family size and know if his/her income is still within the line. Good luck and stay strong and positive please.

I really wish there was more consistency with the timings, I read a few people that had sent their applications off before mine, and worked out the difference between their timeline and mine and today was the day I should of got my NOA going by that maths....... but then there are people who are waiting nearly up to the 30 day mark.... I don't know how you guys are doing it. I'm bored out of my mind. I just want my EAD so i can go work, i'm literally going insane over here. :(

What are people who aren't able to work without their EAD up to keep themselves from checking this forum and their email every 20 seconds? :P

@Ambasa73 the gym is taking up some of my time, but I haven't taken my test to drive over here yet, so have to rely on him to take me everywhere, and when he goes to work, thats it....

I'm not a very patient person..... this is like the worst process for someone as inpatient as me.

@emchappie it is obviously disheartening how USCIS have turned able-bodied men and women of this Noble journey to lazy bones all in the name of work authorization. I am not a patient person but this journey have taught me lots of bitter lessons as well as changing my "perception" of the process of things here. We keep keeping on and hoping for the best praying against unnecessary delays and RFE/RFIE. Good luck.

Hmmmm! Unfortunate. In the forms there are places to add Alien number, check to make sure the old Alien number was included appropriately otherwise contact the USCIS to verify asap. Good luck.

my EAD is estimated to come through at the beginning of July, and I need to get a job right away because my saving won't last forever, however EAD is also AP and was meant to be going back home in May, which obviously isn't going to happen. (at least that will give USCIS a laugh when they see the date on the AP form) :(

I know what you mean.

I could start working as an independent sales consultant next month but I can't do that without the EAD. My parents and my grandpa and of course my husband support me but I don't want that to be the case for the rest of the year. It's really just like I TECHNICALLY could but I CAN'T. I don't want to do illegal stuff so I have to wait.

Jeez, relax a little! There is no possible way that anyone will have to wait for their EAD until the end of this year. Most of us should expect something between the beginning of June and the end of July. Some a little earlier, some a little later. But I can guarantee you that you'll be working way before Labor Day (unless you can't find a job).

Oh I know what you mean. That was more directed towards Becci, who seems to be very passionate about the process and always expects the worst lol. No hard feelings at all, but we all know what we signed up for. :)

For sure. I think we're all excited to actually start our own lives here in the US.
