Hi, @IkaStuart and @Soft

I am not so sure though if you will need it too because I saw one post from one member here that if you used the old I-130 form, you will NOT need the I-130A but if you used the new I-130 (7/31/2018) then you need it, however, I cannot confirm this ruling so maybe we'll just see if they will send you an RFIE or not.

I recieved today in mail. It just one detail in I-864A. We didn't miss anything just we put not complete info.

Hi.  I've been stressing about my AOS, Ead, AP status.

All of the forms arrived in Chicago on 3/13. I have not received any notification and my check has not been cashed. I didn't expect to have to wait this long for the NOA, its been 3 weeks!  I called USCIS on friday, and one of the agents had me put on a list for another agent to call me back later and help with the case, sadly i wasn't available and didn't talk with them when they called.  So i called back later in the day, talked with a different agent, and they said i would have to call back after 30 days of it being received at the Chicago lockbox.  I'm thinking of calling back tomorrow and trying to talk with an agent that will look into my case.

so 3 weeks officially today, anybody else with a similar wait time?

Same here.  Same exact timeline.  Sent AOS package on 3/9/17 and they it was received and signed for on Sunday 3/12/17 at night.  Basically, it arrived there on 3/13/17.  Still no NOA and check hasn't been cashed.  It's been exactly 21 days now.  I sent an email to Chicago Lockbox support today asking them status.  Will see when that gets answered, but on their website, it also states to contact them after 30 days if you don't hear from them.  I sent my email to them early since it mentions that it can take up to 15 business days for someone to respond, so I figure by the time someone takes a look, it will be past 30 days.

They cashed our check after 21 days.

I wouldn't call USCIS again until day 30 because they will tell you that you have to wait for 30 days to pass and call back then.

I got the mail from USCIS. And i am sorry but this is very stupid mail i have ever got.

Ok, they say my joint sponsor's income is enough. They just need proofs for it.

And the other page says my joint sponsor's income is not over the poverty line. (which is bullshit he earns 150k per year)

I really don't know, they didn't accept my birth certificate which it is original document that i got from turkey. I checked the site i got right thing for birth certificate, it can't be wrong, their embassy accepted the same birth certificate. I guess i am gonna send the same thing.

Do you think i should send i-865 for my co-sponsor again? But the first thing they asked is pay stubs and tax transcripts etc. Second page says ohh wait the income is not enough for your co-sponsor. Which is stupid....

I really wish there was more consistency with the timings, I read a few people that had sent their applications off before mine, and worked out the difference between their timeline and mine and today was the day I should of got my NOA going by that maths....... but then there are people who are waiting nearly up to the 30 day mark.... I don't know how you guys are doing it. I'm bored out of my mind. I just want my EAD so i can go work, i'm literally going insane over here. :(

What are people who aren't able to work without their EAD up to keep themselves from checking this forum and their email every 20 seconds? :P

@emchappie, I feel you!  I'm in the process of having my academic transcripts/certificates verified in readiness for when I get EAD.  It's also another tedious process that requires dealing with institutions half the globe away!  I occupy myself by going to the gym.  School runs for the kids as well as housework also helps in keeping my days occupied.

I've got a teenager in the house, so she keeps me busy most of the time. But I totally get it. I can't wait to get a job either. I quit working a month before a moved to spend time with my family. That was in July. I also know that when I do get my EAD I can get a really good job, so yeah I'm getting a bit impatient.

But I know I have to be patient and wait until it's my time. For now I'm just trying to get my husband and stepdaughter used to the idea that the have to do some things themselves so it won't be a big adjustment when the time comes.

Hang in there!

@Ambasa73 the gym is taking up some of my time, but I haven't taken my test to drive over here yet, so have to rely on him to take me everywhere, and when he goes to work, thats it....

Wait does NY allow you to get DL's with just the NOA? I was told not once, but twice to wait for the EAD.
