I hope that those without their NOA's will get a response very soon. I know the waiting is horrible, just I promise you that all the notices will come sooner or later. Mail barely ever gets lost so don't worry about it, sit back and try to relax. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

Short update on my end: My biometrics appointment is tomorrow morning. It's an hour away which kind of blows but at least I don't actually have to go all the way to NYC.

I am still waiting for my biometrics letter.

Anyway, I was wondering if I could receive an RFE for only sending my husband's tax return from 2015 but no letter from his employer or pay stubs...I am mad at myself for not sending some more evidence.

I think it's likely that you will get a RFE for that. You usually always get one if it's for a document that USCIS has on the list of supporting documents they want to see. It is listed in the I-864 instructions to send either an employer letter or most recent Paystubs as well as W2. You do not need to send all of this evidence (obviously it's better so why not do it?!) but it needs to somehow support your Tax Return, especially because you didn't submit the 2016 Tax Returns. So what USCIS sees right now is "Great her husband made enough money in 2015 to support his wife... but there is no proof of sufficient current income". You had to write his current income in the I-864 where it was asked but you should've somehow backed it up (paystubs or employer letter).  Otherwise people can write whatever income they want in there to get approved although they make a lot less in the current year. I'd be surprised if you didn't get an RFE for that. Just have all documents ready so as soon as you get the RFE you can respond. Also, have you tried looking with the search bar whether someone else had ever made the same mistake?! Maybe you will get your answer there whether you get an RFE for sure or not.

Just got done at my biometrics appointment. Took me about an hour from start to finish and most of the time was spent waiting.

Congratulations and the wait continues. Hoping, wishing and waiting for the best for all of us. Good luck.

I am so mad at myself...argh.

I have the documents ready to send them to USCIS.

As of right now, I don't have a status update saying that I will receive a RFE? Shouldn't that be the case? I remember that I had a status update when we filed for my K1 and we received an RFE.

And we don't actually get to pick where our paperwork ends up. The NYC field office is technically responsible for the area where I live, but I hope that they send it to Albany instead because they're like 4 months ahead of NYC. But it looks like my case won't even leave the National Benefits Center so I don't have to worry about it.

I hope you hear something soon.

Well, the status will only update when/if they actually send you an RFE. That may take months to happen, or may not even happen.

Best advice from @Californiansunset is to just have all your documents ready in case you ever receive an RFE, so you can respond to it as quickly as possible, and it looks like you've got that covered.

Received my Biometrics Appointment Letter. :)

Questions: It looks like that my Service Center is the NBC. Does that mean that they will process my applications?

I have to go to the Application Support Center. Anyone who has been there? I thought I would have to go to the Field Office in Atlanta...

Is it possible to give someone my missing documents for the I-864?

Ohhh!! Not again, so sorry to hear this but all in all the our quote of the day says it all ....PATIENCE IS BITTER BUT ITS FRUIT IS SWEET. stay strong and positive. Get copies of your sent package and see if you can discover any error that could cause the RFE so you could get them prepared before you get the mail so as to be able to send it back immediately they arrive. Good luck. Stay strong and positive.

Hi, @rose michigan, @kimy33, @Soft, @butterfly09 and @atuegwu

Thank you all for the encouragement to help me keep positive.

Here are my answers to your questions:

@rose michigan does NOA 1 means Notice of Action? Sorry I'm still confused. If so, yes, I received all my notices already. I was waiting for my biometric appointment notice before I received this email. I guess we have to comply with the request first before they schedule me because it says on the email my case is suspended until we sent them what they need.

What is the difference between RFE and RFIE?

@kimy33 yes, it is for my I-485

Why should you have an RFE already?! It's not like they had a lot of time looking at your application. Of course you will get a status update saying RFE is issued but that doesn't mean you should have it already. You received your NOA1 so all that this means is that they verified that thy got your application and put it in the system. That doesn't mean that someone already actually went through every single paper checking whether it's correct and complete.  You can get an RFE still at day 80 or 90 (happened to a lot of December AOS Filers). Right now a lot of people receive the RFE letters right after the biometrics appointment letter though so maybe you get it soon.
