At the end of my AOS interview the CO said that she would "recommend my case for approval". I'm sure it's been asked multiple times now but what was the next step for you? Did you receive a change of status text or anything or was it just waiting until one day the letter in the mail would show up?

sounds like you have good news coming in the mail soon. Keep us posted.

Thank you! Was hoping for a change in status by now, just to be sure it's all good and approved but I guess I'll have to wait for mail....

I'm in  NYC and haven't heard anything yet. But as many have mentioned they usually send the letters 4-5 weeks in advance. So if you haven't gotten anything yet you should be good to travel.

This wait is killing me.

282 days since NOA1 and zero news about my case. Stuck on "fingerprint fee received" since April 4. Put two service requests and none of them was "assigned for processing" which means no response.

I'm starting to freak out that my case may have been lost somewhere along the way. I see lots of other people (some applied after me) that are getting their interview letters or green cards, and I'm still in the dark. I really try to stay calm, and I know other people are on the same boat as me, but some days is just too hard to keep it together.

What gives me a lot of worry is even if an appointment is scheduled or attended one wouldn't be out of the woods yet. I have red many horror stories of people often times waiting for months or years for approval/denial decisions. Excuses for such delays are often in line of "pending background check" or  "pending approval by manager". Either ways, Interview seems to be the tip of iceberg of troubles instead of light at the end of a tunnel.

All we can do is pray and who we won't need to go through it.

Day -1540 (01-07-2013) I-130 Sent (Under F2A because spouse was LPR).

Just stay positive. Keep in mind that the time frame is up to 12 months - so lets start worrying until then.
