Thanks for the heads up. 

It's weird, NYC says they are reviewing cases from early Sept 2016, but my coworker who filed in November 2016 already had her interview a couple of weeks ago

please note that the processing times are 66 days old - so you have to factor that into your calculations.

Got email and text that my AOS application for my wife and daughter were approved on Nov. 7th and that their cards have been mailed on Nov. 9th.

I filed SR on Oct 20, 2017. They said expect a response on Nov 11, 2017, lol. They meant today, Veterans day! No response so far.

I hear Florida in general is behind due to the hurricane. Florida and Texas. I am about to hit the 8 month mark as well. Field office is Orlando. Patience. Any day we can hear something.

I was just about to post that... My friend just got a letter cancelling her appointment. In her letter they said they will schedule a new one by December, but she hasn't heard from them yet. Field office Houston, TX.

I stumbled on this article this morning "Marriage Fraud".

 

It is an article from Huston 2 published today. This goes on to show you that since there are some individuals out there hell-bent on taking advantage of the system, government is more vigilant and more suspicious of even most robust family based applications. Article also points out the fact that USCIS now interviews every single case of Fiance applications (K-1), which previously was mostly granted permanent residency without interview. This inevitably slows every case and delays our interviews. It is sad to note that actions of few bad people impact us all  in the most adverse way.

How do you know where to find this information? I never know if I should look for time processing by Field Office (mine is Chicago) or by NBC.

My wife and daughter received their 2 yr Permanent Resident card today, after last Monday's interview on 11/06/17.  I want to wish good luck to everyone and to hang in there.  It is a frustrating journey for sure, but I know we'll all reach our destination somehow.

If you are waiting for interview you need to look into your field office, which is in your Case is Chicago.

probably you are right. but my case didn't even change from request for evidence received. i don't think it is in florida field office. maybe i have to call and poke them about my case

i send out the same SR (taking longer than processing time) on Oct 3rd, still not assigned for processing. not sure if it would ever be assigned....
