I got an update today. They mailed my EAD to me (yesterday). Hopefully I have it soon, I'm done with sitting at home..

EDIT: They mailed On July 10, 2017. So maybe i will have it today

I got my EAD card today ! It took me 5 days to receive it after they mailed me. I was so worried that's why I wanted to track my EAD card but they didn't give me tracking#.

And online status updated few hours ago. They mailed my GC on 10th. I hope I will get my green card this week.

Finally after 136 days I got the new card is being produced status change. Relieved is an understatement how I feel right now. 

 

How fast can I expect to have the EAD in hand? My employer wants me to start working asap.

yay! finally! i am so happy for you. it took 7 days (weekend included) for my status to change. Card sent to me at july 10, but updated today. so probably it is 1-2 weeks.

Thank you!!!  Ah man I was hoping to have it early next week. Well I guess a few more days doesn't matter anymore now anyways. 

It was my expedite request that was completed yesterday that seemed to lead to the approval. I'm just confused that my service request that was completed last Friday didn't do sh%$t but my expedite request (which by the way I was told at three different calls I can't do, I just finally had someone on the line who would let me) without having to show any proof lead them to approve it.

I just talked to a tier 2 officer. And he could give me a tracking number it does take 24 hours before it is uploaded into system. And I checked it on the USPS site, and I'm going to have my EAD on Friday!

Hello Everyone!

 

FINALLY after 126 today I received 2 emails & text messages notifying that my EAD and AP were approved. I never thought it was going to take this long. 

Last month on June 9 my AOS status changed to Case ready to Schedule For an Interview. I hope I get the interview waiver! Good luck to everybody out there looking for their first jobs here. I'll start applying for jobs in a few weeks.

 

Does  anybody know how long it takes from "Case Approved to Card Was Mailed"? I'd like to have an idea of how much longer I have to wait.

With me it changed in 4 days.on July 11th it said it was mailed to me. On July 12th I talked to a tier 2 officer and got a tracking number. I'm supposed to get my card on Friday

OMG Really?? I thought that it would take like a month or something like that!!! I better start studying for my DL test! I'm getting all anxious now lol

Thank you!!! I was hoping a little earlier but I guess it's not too bad. I already have my DL test scheduled for July 25th so as long as I get it before that I am fine.
