Well it's day 98 for my husbands EAD. I just got done sending our local congressman an email hoping he can help. I figure it can't hurt so why not! Here is hoping it does!!!

best wishes to everyone still holding on!!

Where can you find the email for a congressman? I can only find a form for immigration issues to be filled out that needs to be faxed for my congressman

Ok just trying to get an idea of how things are going for March filers.

Comment below on who's waiting for EAD, AOS or both. If you got approved how long did you wait, was there an RFIE or RFE, and type of visa originally filed i.e. K1 (fiancée visa)

Yes I could just go through everyone's timeline but this puts it all in one place for everyone.

I know each case is different and I shouldn't use other peoples to figure out mine. But I'm impatient! And now that the wait is. Beyond the 90 days I have the itch. I know there are people still waiting well beyond 100 days and it's sad.

Thanks ahead to anyone who posts!

I'm still waiting for  both. I came in on a K1 visa. I live in Sacramento, Can (somehow I think this has something to do with it too, don't know why just a thought) I'm on day 91 today with no RFE/RFIE..

I found mine via the following link. After the search there was an envelope icon that I clicked on next to their picture. I haven't heard anything yet I think it's accurate at least I hope so. It may also depend on the office their in but I would think they all would have the same means of communication.

Just realized I should probably post my info too! LoL

came in on K1 visa

Filed for AOS (i485) and EAD (i765) received on March 17.

We had an RFE on our 485 as our international birth certificate with translations on the back wasn't translated enough. That was recievied on May 24.

So that should put our EAD at Day 98.

and our AOS at Day 30.

i really hope I don't have to wait 60 more days for his EAD because of the RFE.

Maybe you could give your congressman office a call. I went to the office in person without an appointment, because it was very close to my house. I just wanted explain my situation, ask how this procedure works and to make sure what evidence should I send them to expedite my case. They were very considerate and fast. I think is worth the try!

@atuegwu Wow I'm sorry you got so close only to be held up on a technicality...Am I the only one on here that doesn't trust waiting for the letter based on some of the stories on here? USCIS processing is sooooo confusing! Cheers to a speedy reply from them and a fast approval.

@Scienceteacher15 it is okay. Thanks a lot for the positive vibes. I sure appreciate and completely agree with you. I forgot to say, the man asked my wife how we spent our new year and what she made for me ( the kind of meal she prepared) that day. It was hilarious as he wanted to know how to make that particular local delicacy...good luck to you all folks.
