Today is my bday and I checked thinking "hey, maybe they wanna surprise me with good news" and guess what? Nothing.

I also checked the timeline for my office and it looks like they are processing EADs from Feb filings, so one more month to go I guess?

The time between the ready for interview status update can vary greatly between field offices. There is no set time frame when they give out interview appointments. People in NYC can wait up to a year while people in LA usually get theirs relatively quickly.

What about VA?

It isn't clear to me whether than means there is a backlog of 5mo.

The 'processing cases of' date is meant to tell us whether our individual cases are within the expected  processing time. If your PD (received date, or if RFE/RFIE the response received date) is newer than this date the case is in 'normal processing time' otherwise, you're out of of it and are eligible to escalate with USCIS.  One exception is i-765 EAD, which is is targeted for completion before 60 or 90 days of PD depending on the case category. Many of us are outside of this window but I'm sure they're working hard to help.

From this forum and others it would appear many get adjudicated well before this date, in some cases a few months earlier. Unfortunately the measure less like a speedo and more like the light that comes on when you're near empty.

I think the update is positive as it shows NBC i-765 (ead) processing cases of date has moved up significantly.
