Yes it has been a LONG journey 😊  9 days is nothing compared to how long it's actually been with the whole process. If you don't hear by day 90 than maybe give them a call. 😃

Hello to everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend!

I have been checking on and on my status online, but still no change whatsoever. It is already day 88 and I am starting to get too stressed about it hahaha.

The best of the luck for everyone and hopefully we get good news soon!

Uggh!  Just got email notification and checked online that all the EAD and AP cases for my wife and step-daughter are requesting evidence and they mailed it today.  Yet both of their I-485 shows received and USCIS received my request for initial evidence that I sent 4 weeks ago.  So, what do the EAD and AP cases need now?  Uggh...so frustrating.

@Denis & San ohh noo!!! Not again. Why all these, what do they want again this time. Please stay calm and positive, call to speak with someone at the USCIS office soon as you get the letter. I can feel your pain and frustration at this whole process. My heart and prayers goes out to you. Good luck.

Based on my calculations, it doesn't even make sense to call USCIS once I receive the letter at that point unless it's for documents that are totally out of the norm because I have made all copies of all documentation I have ever sent to them.  I should be receiving the RFE letter on Saturday.  Then on Monday, I can overnight whatever documents they need and they'll get it the next day.  If I get the letter on Saturday and then call them on Monday, I'll be on hold for while and then once I reach someone, they'll just have an officer call me in a couple of days.  So that would mean Wednesday or Thursday of next week.  At this point, just overnighting whatever documents they need would be faster.  That's just my thoughts.

And i guess this will reset your ead processing time. I hope not.

Well, by 1 week I hope.  The only thing that's good at this point, is that they started working on my EAD/AP case for my wife and daughter so that's why they're sending out an RFE.  If I wasn't getting the RFE, I would be way ahead of schedule to receive the EAD/AP cards since they'd be working on it right now, so that's the only saving grace, sort of.  We'll see what happens.

So sorry to hear that mate! But don't give up, it just means that your case is being process and they are working on it!

That's what I was thinking too.  At least someone touched our case instead of me wondering what happened to it or if it fell behind a cabinet somewhere at USCIS.

Hi everyone 

 

we submitted our package on March 14th after that we got RFIE for I485 concerning birth certificate. Which we already submitted so we sent it again and they received our response on April 11th.

after following the discussion here I figured we'll have to reset the time to 4/11 . But to my surprise I got a notification today (77 days after the original package submitting) saying that new EAD card is being produced.
