Hi Everyone!

I have been reading this forum silently and thought I'd respond. I also check my USCIS status multiple times a day hoping it will change. Love the positive vibes here and hope everyone receives their EADs and GC soon!

I had my biometrics appointment on 04/18/17 and haven't heard anything since.

Good luck to all!

@kimy33 from what I have read especially here, you can not petition your parents to come visit you except if you are a USC, there can also apply for the B1/B2 category on their own with lots of things like property, finances, jobs, kids etc back in your home country playing in their favor. good luck.

What country are they from? I know in certain countries they can get an ESTA visa. You don't have to apply for it just pay the latest 72 hours before you leave for the USA. With the ESTA they can stay for 90 days. Of course if they want to stay like get they'll have to get a tourist visa.

Hi Dorothyla

in my opinion I would just wait, our EAD was approved at Day 87 even with a RFIE. I know patience is tested in this process, but stay strong and positive. I have been reading the forums and it seems to me like the SR isn't if any help. So instead of having the headache calling USCIS we just waited.

I-129F sent- June 15

Lockbox received- June 16

Noa1- June 20

RFE- August 23

NOA2- September 1

NVC received- September 13

Case #- September 13

interview- October 31
