Yayyy, got an exciting update😂😁🙏🏽

-Case sent on march 6th and USCIS received on march 9th.

-Fingerprint on April 12th.

-No RFE

-EAD approved on day 71.

- i-485 and AP still on the "case received" status, they did not even update on the fingerprints!

Hope everyone will hear something soon, this waiting game is nerve-wracking.

God bless.

CONGRATS. I am so excited now. I got my biometrics at 20th april. I hope i will get my EAD soon.

Hey @DorothyLa we filled around the same time, and I got my EAD approved yesterday. So hang in there your update is on the way soon!

This is great news for all of you who have yet to receive the EAD approvals. Considering many of us here got the approval around the 70 day mark, maybe USCIS really stepped up their game again and is trying to make sure that people have their EAD's within 90 days.

Now let's hope they're just as fast with the interview waiver cases!

hi Pinkcandy, what was the RFIE for? today i am 63 days PD march 15th,bio april 17 after the bio i never received an update on either cases ,i130 and i765 said on march 15 we received your case,i485 said we accept the fingerprint fee ,no RFE so far, still waiting.

Hi @csynal5421

My RFIE was for a missing I-130A form, a new form that Immigration requires as supplemental for I-130.

As for my status, these are the updates so far on each form:
I-485 - "On April 7th, we received your reply on RFIE..."
I-130 - "On March 10th, we received your case....."
I-131 - "On March 10th, we received your case....."
I-765 - "On May 17th, we ordered your new card..."

Prior to receiving the news today, I kept checking my status even though I was expecting changes on June, I kept counting the days, imagining, wishing, praying, hoping and then the next day, do it all over again.

The waiting is really stressful, I'm so sorry but don't worry, IT WILL HAPPEN ! and it might also come to you when you least expected it :)

Someone said here before that if you used the old version of the I-130 form the I-130A is not needed, so maybe that's reason why.

I hope for a movement with your case, I'll be looking forward to it.

Congrats to all of you who are already getting your EAD approved.  Just frustrating for the many of us who have priority dates from before March and still have not received EAD.

I don't have a priority date. That was blank on my noa1..

Everyone and @emchappie

It looks like the RFIE does not really affect the EAD processing because my status just changed!! .

69 Days starting from my priority date of March 10th.
I did not request for expedite.
I am still in shock right now because I am expecting this middle of next month.

Thank you so much God!

Goodluck to us all!!!

work authorization.JPG

It's what I said... it affects some and then others it doesn't. It's weird because each time you call they well tell you something differently depending on the person you talk to on the line. Everything about this process is pure luck. Some ppl submit only two passport pictures for the AOS although 6 are required and get away with it while other get an RFIE. Same goes for most other things in this process.

Some people get away with an RFIE and get their card within normal processing time others end up waiting 150 days...
