@LCat congratulations on the progress of your case. Aside the first notice you got I don't think you get another but what you have seen on your case status. The next thing you will get is EAD/AP approved, mailed, or AOS mail for your interview date and venue which will now show or give you clue of your local/field office. The processing time is on the USCIS site which give you an idea of the month they are processing now though not perfectly accurate sometimes. Good luck.

04/07/17: Phone call to USCIS to confirm NOA are in the mail for all, I-130, I-485, I-131, & I-765

04/11/17: Received hardcopies of all 4 NOAs in the mail

04/29/17: Received biometrics appointment letter

05/12/17: Biometrics appointment

You can still get an RFE. Even at the actual interview.

Question to my fellow Yexas based AOS filers- have you tried getting the DL with NOA1? It looks like I won't get my EAD before the current one expires and I'm afraid that between not having a job and not being able to drive I'll simply go crazy. I'd like to at least be able to drive...

Yes, I did on 4/11, faxed them documents few days later and haven't heard from them since then, until Thursday when I started calling them and asking if they received anything. Of course, they couldn't give me any information -_-, but they created a request for me and said they will contact me within 21 days. I contacted my congressman saying I have not received any answer, and at this point I don't even know if they received my documents. I got an answer from congressman's office on Friday 4/28 saying that immigration claims they have not received my supportive documentation, therefore they cannot make the decision yet. Today my status changed. I hate I had to go through the congressman's office to get them to do anything in my case, but if that's the only way to make them interested in "special cases" like mine, then so be it :jest:

I cannot find a job where I could expedite...though I am looking around and write applications... :(
