I see "ready to be scheduled for an interview" since April 12 (4 weeks since NOA1) and I'm still waiting to receive the appointment notice... I don't know how long it takes to receive it ...

It depends on your field office. You could get the letter tomorrow or in 9 months and there's no way to find out when you'll get it.

@Cynthia68 I really feel your frustration. I've been checking my mail every single day since last week waiting for my biometrics letter and nothing :(! I don't know how much longer to wait before calling USCIS to ask.

I'm glad to see the RFIE finally came. It's a pain that it is something you already submitted, but the upside is it was quick and easy to fill it out again. I'm also expecting to get an RFIE for this form because I forgot to fill out all income for tax year 2015 and 2014 on the form, only filled out 2016 and sent 2016 paperwork. Hopefully this does not pause the clock, and you can still get your wife's interview scheduled on time. Best wishes!

Thanks. I already got the biometrics appt letter. It's scheduled for next Wednesday. 30 min from my house. And who knows, we may not get interviewed at all.

@emchappie it could be frustrating but please be calm, strong and positive as tomorrow and Saturday could have your letter delivered in the mail. you sure shall have it done soon. good luck.

I am doing nothing but waiting also. I am so frustrated so depressed, crying almost everyday because can't work and feel so not useful.

Immigration is nothing but a waiting game. Patience is the key word. No choice or nothing else you can do if the number of the days they ask you to take action have not passed. So, try really try to enjoy your new life, read, workout, craft just do something that would make you forget about all that. I know its a bit frustrating when you go to your mailbox and not find any interesting mail, you're like ''whyyyyy :-(( haha.. but what else can you do besides waiting. Hang in there, the best is to come. Y'all have a great weekend!

I understand how you feel and no matter how many times we say that we are not checking the mailbox anymore tomorrow, you still get excited to see the mailman the next day and run to check the mails.

It's really frustrating.

Just try to be busy with something else.

Take one day at a time. If a day is still too long to bear, try one hour at a time. 

or just take comfort on the fact that at least you are just waiting..... not rejected or denied.

Yes, I really undersand how you feel. I have been waiting for 4 weeks now, still nothing. I am just afraid the mail was lost somewhere.
