Supporting documents during the nvc stage are to prove financial capabilities of the petitioner to support you including financial documentation, etc. In addition, supporting documentation here would also include any birth certificates or civil documentation of the petitioner to attest to their relationship to you (e.g., marriage certificate, adoption records, birth certificates if they are family. This would not be the stage where you would be including flight tickets as that would either have been provided as supporting evidence during the I-130 stage or brought to the interview.

If you have included IRS transcripts, you won't need the filed returns. If you want to include both, make sure you're only including the federal taxes.

i had qualms about writing in my name and case number over copies of civil documentation so I bought a bunch of removable Avery labels .

Thank you.

If they are your spouse, the marriage certificate. For IV packet, that would include proof of their US status such as passport.

I had everything in one stack with one cover sheet and it was fine. Many people have ideas about what is technically correct, but the true answer is that it is best to have everything together. Put the AOS cover sheet and then the AOS documents followed by IV cover sheet and IV documents. I also included a sheet that I created called "packet contents" which listed everything included and what evidence it was proving, but only because my situation called for A TON of evidence and my packet ended up being 111 pages (so most people do not need to do this).

From the NVC website link posted above:

After you collect your Affidavit of Support form(s) and financial evidence in Step 4, and supporting documents in Step 5, you must submit all of your forms, financial evidence, and photocopies of your original civil documents in ONE package to the NVC. Your case may be significantly delayed if you fail to submit all of your documents together in one package or at the same time.

Please do not send us your original passport or original civil documents such as birth, marriage, and divorce certificates. Instead, submit a photocopy of these documents to NVC. However, you must keep these original documents and bring them to your visa interview appointment. This is true no matter what method you use to submit documents to NVC

You should probably send the police certificate in as it is needed for the background check. In some countries the police certificate is sent directly from the police to the embassy, but if your country is not one of those you need to send in police certificate. Sometimes NVC will let you bring some things to the interview if they were incorrect in the original packet, but IMO it is risky to assume that you're exempt from sending in a document unless the NVC told you that directly.

yeah I feel the same way, probably it will better to send the police certificate to NVC, she already request one but it take up to 2 month in Cuba to get one, so it is to wait for it or send the papers without it and hoping they will allow us to bring it to the interview,

what did you sent for Pettioner's  Civil Documents?

We also had to wait forever to get police certificate (which in Croatia is actually 2 papers from 2 different agencies). I would wait and send all together WITH police certificate. You can wait 8 weeks for PC, then have 11 weeks processing at NVC.... or have 11 weeks processing at NVC, get a checklist fir the PC and then another 11 weeks processing... so 19 weeks waiting or 22 weeks waiting. They might not have a problem with you bringing PC to the interview, but I would call the NVC and ask!

Here is the full list of what I included in my AOS/IV packet (had it saved on my computer):

-document cover sheet

-packet content sheet

FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS
-AOS I-864 petitioner
-tax returns petitioner

-birth certificate petitioner
-copy of passport petitioner

-AOS I-864 joint sponsor
-tax returns joint sponsor
-w-2s joint sponsor
-copy of passport joint sponsor

PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP
-marriage certificate, international version
-birth certificate child 1
-birth certificate child 2
-identification cards petitioner/beneficiary showing address
-petitioner Croatian visas

DOMICILE
-lease in the US
-quote moving company
-quote vehicle shipping company
-quote vehicle insurer
-correspondence from US schools re: registering children

OTHER INCLUDED DOCUMENTS
-birth certificate beneficiary with translation
-copy of passport beneficiary
-police certificates
-receipt AOS bill
-receipt IV bill
-2 correctly sized photos of beneficiary (in a ziploc bag stapled to sheet of paper with: name, DOB, case number on back)
