Just logged in and saw the famous 3 N/As for my wife. scan date dec 23 2016. Will call in the morning to comfirm CC. Waiting on step sons CC same scan date but my agent made the mistake of not letting me know I had to send in AOS one for each of them:angry:. So I had to send it in on January 24,2017 . Would that be his new scan date?

Hye guys! It's wonderful to know ya'll experiences. I have a silly short question:D!! Can I send original civil certificate to NVC so my spouse don't have to bring that specific document (yes, I mean marriage certificate) during interview? I have original marriage certificate with me and don't want to risk it in the snail mail. Any thoughts?

hey, i guess it's not a good idea to send original document to NVC they only require copies of the documents.

it often doesn't take 8 weeks once they get your check listed document.  You can always send it and once you think they would have received it, call them to check every couple of days how it's going.
Given it's a spousal greencard though, yes the marriage certificate is a 110% requirement. It's not one of those documents that depends on the country etc.

Thanks a lot.

I sent them yesterday.

I'll give them a call by  Monday to see if they've gotten it yet.

Speedy CC for everyone that's waiting.:)

Hello :) I used the standard service and it was pretty good regarding timings. It was shipped within the UK (As this is home for me). As far as I'm aware they just do two services; the standard and premium.

You can check out the ACRO website and I'm sure there is more info regarding international shipping :)

Yes I did go through. The website is not clear on the time for international couriers.Hence the ask. Anyways Thanks Much!

Hey!! Finally I got my case number after 2weeks of nvc receiving my case... But haven't yet received any email or mail from them. They told me that mail was sent on 27/02 hope to receive it soon...

I managed to complete the DS261.. when do I have to pay the fee??

And why does it say 2-4weeks for them to review my case instead of 8weeks just like it's written on their website??

so confused please help:huh:
