I'm in the process of submitting my documents and wanted to know if it's true not to staple items.  I keep hearing different instructions.  Ex:  my taxes consist of 10 pages. Any advice

I did staple but not everything; I used a 2-hole (top) fastener to keep everything together:OIC Standard Steel Prong Paper Fasteners

I went to the NVC website to pay the fees, but only the AOS fee is available for payment. The Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee is not available yet. Is that normal? Should I pay the AOS fee anyways and wait for the other fee the be available for payment?

Yes, this is normal and you can go ahead and pay the AOS fee.  Please remember to keep a printout of the receipts for both fees.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

Has anybody submitted the Tax extension for 2016 as evidence for financial support? Unfortunately We are asked to file an extension by the CPA; as my husband has to include my income( earned in my country of origin) as well with his.It is also required that I file my returns in my country of origin.

And since the tax year in my country is not complete yet, he cannot file his returns for the most recent tax year.

Anybody with the same experience? Or has anybody filed a joint income in the US?

Nobody??? :(

Most recent is all that I used(2015), at the time I submitted my packet to the NVC.  It says previous years are optional.

I complete an updatd I864ez for 2016 tax year for my wife to bring with her to the embassy for her interview.

Do we need to furnish pictures to be put in with the supporting documents?

& do we need to explicitly mention the case number on each document?

they say so, but there is still no update on the ceac website... why it takes so much time???(((

@claudia88031 hang in there, I saw here many people with later dates than mine with completed CCs, I feel like it is more depends on your luck than a scan date, priority date or any other dates :sleepy:

i saw people recommend to keep calling them at least 2-3 times a week when your case is in supervisor review, maybe you can try calling more often so they know you are on the case. good luck xxoo
