I requested a supervisor review also! I will call them later :(  my hubby is so upset. Lucky you, he said another 2 weeks, from what they told me, it may take up to another 6 weeks,

hoping to get our CC's soon :(

i also emailed congressman for an assistance

http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/

should you like to try, (although, some said they never get a hold of one, but some said it works usually you'll hear fron NVC after a couple of days)

For me, it's better to try than sit and wait without doing anything :crying::crying:

:clock::clock:

It is really nice to do something rather just sit and wait! I hope it works and you will get your CC not later than the next week.

Hopefully there will be no other snow storms and NVC finally start doing their jobs... I haven't seen my husband in person since the last year spring (it will be 12 months soon!!!), and my son thinks that the daddy is a person that lives in a computer/ phone...

??? am sorry to hear that,i just hope if that's the only checklist, i just hope when they received it, it means the review should have been finished, since they wouldn't requestcklists one by one, am sure before they send a checklist they have checked each paper already.

supposedly they only send a checklist once they have reviewed everything, and the only way to get a second checklist is if there is also a problem with the new documents r if they lose something

I guess because the "clock" has to reset when they receive the new documents, so it is likely they haven't even reviewed them yet. I understand that I messed up and that I have to "start over" with the processing wait times. But it seems to me that it would make more sense in cases like mine where they need to re-review something very small (like my blank form pages or a copy of a passport) that they would move that to a short list. If they just reviewed this one small thing, they could have a case complete, which would improve their numbers and processing speeds. I don't get it :o

@Mr&MrsKhiladi thanks for asking.  Yes just "expedited for a) interviewing only, where NVC will still complete case as usual, but once done, it will be fwd to your embassy right away & you'll be given the chance to schedule the interview as per your schedule".

I believe its mostly medical situations or asylum that get the latter in what I've seen.  But every little bit helps!  I'm just past 6 weeks at NVC.

Got married: 26th Sep 2013

I-130 Petition Process:

Sent petition to USCIS Chicago lockbox (via in-laws to put check in US$): 11 Mar, 2016

NOA1: 24 Mar, 2016 (email notification 30 Mar. Hardcopy 11 Apr)

Service Centre: NEBRASKA

NOA2: 3rd Aug 2016

Petition sent to NVC: 18th Aug 2016

NVC Stage

Case number assigned: 8th Sep 2016

Paid AOS Fee: 9th Sep 2016

Paid IV Fee: 14th Sep 2016

DS-260 submitted: 25th Jan 2017

AOS & IV Package sent: 25th Jan 2017

Expedite requested: 25th Jan 2017

Expedite approved (consulate only): 1st Feb 2017

Scan Date: 31st Jan 2017

Case Complete: 14th April 2017 (10 weeks 4 days)

Full expedite approved (bypass NVC to send file to embassy), however too late as I already had case complete 17th Apr 2017

Case arrived at Embassy: 21st April 2017

P4 letter received: 26th April 2017 (expedite at embassy stage so this came from the consulate, not NVC)

Medical date: 26th April 2017

Interview date: 4th May 2017 APPROVED!!

Visa received: 8th May 2017

POE (entered the USA): 15th May 2017

AOS help - to avoid a dreaded checklist- I'm freaking out here man

I have not filed my 2016 taxes. I have my reasons , but they will be done before the cutoff. Then add the time until the IRS sends the refund.

As such , I am going to send my AOS package in before finalizing my 2016 taxes. I will be using my 2015 tax transcript/recent tax year and my current income.

My 2015 is substantially lower than my current income but a good deal over 125% .(I was collecting unemployment for awhile so that lowered my income)

I can include 2014 , 2013 too. The problem is  2013 is filed jointly and I do not have access to my w2's from that year to prove my income. I also feel like adding them would just muddy the water and may even produce a checklist for a W2.

My question is have any of you gotten case complete with out a checklist using single year (over 125%) and current income only via i-864EZ?

On paper I meet the requirement.I am just super nervous they will ask for more information. Is the i-864EZ only used for people that greatly exceed the AOS requirements ? As in making like 70k+. Have any of you used this option without say making substantial amounts more the the requirement ?

I understand I will have the updated i-184EZ with 2016 brought to the interview. (its more than 2015 so NP)

Any information/opinions are welcome.

If you include you IRS transcript, you do not need to include W2s. As for other question regarding whether you can get CC with only one year (latest year; in your case 2015) of income making over 125%; I recall someone getting CC with the same scenario, but don't take my word for it.

Someone with more concrete information will give you the answer.

I what I read is that if the transcript is under the "filed jointly" they need the W2 to establish how much you made personally. I am concerned that they will request this information and since I had enough income on my 2015 it would be shooting myself in the foot.
