Oh gosh, this makes me nervous for my own birth certificate as well. There's only one format that the Philippine Statistics Office issues, and there are no other alternatives so I don't know what else they will look for in a new submission. Hope they accept your explanation so you can get on with the process and have an interview date.

Yeah it is on the security paper and that is the one my wife has. It also has the PSA stamp at the upper left and the barcode on the bottom left. Signature on the bottom right. Everything that is stated to be required is there. I did some research and the only difference (and my wife confirmed) is that she was born in the province in the early 80s and it doesn't look like the ones I've seen online.

I'm trying to remember if I sent them a black and white copy and hence they couldn't see the colored security paper. I told the operator I can only give you again the one I sent earlier but the actual certified copy. I sent it out this morning next day service to NH.

If they don't accept this I don't know what else to do. I was with my wife when we got her birth certificates from the NSO in Quezon City. Only prayers I guess.

Guys.. who knows if it's possible for NVC to let someone take a Marriage divorce certificate to the interview instead of mailing to NVC?

a photocopy is required for NVC, the original goes to the interview with you.  Thats one piece of documentation that's compusary no matter what country you're from.

Got married: 26th Sep 2013

I-130 Petition Process:

Sent petition to USCIS Chicago lockbox (via in-laws to put check in US$): 11 Mar, 2016

NOA1: 24 Mar, 2016 (email notification 30 Mar. Hardcopy 11 Apr)

Service Centre: NEBRASKA

NOA2: 3rd Aug 2016

Petition sent to NVC: 18th Aug 2016

NVC Stage

Case number assigned: 8th Sep 2016

Paid AOS Fee: 9th Sep 2016

Paid IV Fee: 14th Sep 2016

DS-260 submitted: 25th Jan 2017

AOS & IV Package sent: 25th Jan 2017

Expedite requested: 25th Jan 2017

Expedite approved (consulate only): 1st Feb 2017

Scan Date: 31st Jan 2017

Case Complete: 14th April 2017 (10 weeks 4 days)

Full expedite approved (bypass NVC to send file to embassy), however too late as I already had case complete 17th Apr 2017

Case arrived at Embassy: 21st April 2017

P4 letter received: 26th April 2017 (expedite at embassy stage so this came from the consulate, not NVC)

Medical date: 26th April 2017

Interview date: 4th May 2017 APPROVED!!

Visa received: 8th May 2017

POE (entered the USA): 15th May 2017

I sent my AOS and IV packages with a scan date of 31st Jan, however NVC can't confirm if they have my police report which goes straight from the police to NVC without coming via me.  Because this was processed wheN I had a different case number (I moved countries and therefore embassies) I decided to request another with the correct case number.  I figured it's better to send it now than when they get to my end of my processing and give me a checklist.
But now I'm wondering ....do you think it will alter my scan date?  I really hope I haven't forced my countdown to start all over again!

3rd ? OMG !!

Did you get to talk to the supervisor about bringing the missing info to the interview?

Yes I tried to reach supervisor and then after 1 week i got voicemail from the supervisor that i can't guess at this time because my dad case was completed on 02/15 and told him in checklist to submit I-864A during an interview but my mom is still under for review and told her in checklist to submit I-864A back to NVC and where i called NVC and told them that she can submit the form during an interview and the case was forward back to for supervisor and then she stats in voicemail that i can't guess to why one was complete and if NVC asked you to submit I-864A then you need to submit one so i did submit last week. this is just more frustration and delaying my case.

I called yesterday and confirm my scan date is now 02/27....hope they review the form soon:clock:

Yes I did mine back in September so just went back and checked my documents! I sent my bank statement and phone bill both from the September month. Along with that I sent my paper copy of my driving license and passport photo scanned in.

I received it within the 10 days .. it was a very efficient service!

:)

Thank You.. Can i know which service you had opted standard or premium service? And to which country it was shipped to? Do they use a standard courier service.. like FedEx?
