I've been reading some people's cases sit in review for a few more weeks! I really hope that isn't the case. I've been calling about twice a week. I'm hoping for a CC soon!! 

Did yours go into review because you called or did it happen naturally and you were advised?

It just went up for review and they just notified me when I called to get an update on my case status. I'm planning on calling at the end of the week to see how long they will estimate the review stage to go

when you login, see attached pic, when you see the encircled in red, as you can see in my case

it states PAID when it turned out to be N/A just like the two on the right,

 

that's when they 3N/A's and said to be case completed

I had my case at nvc and it took more time to review. I was told that it will take 8 weeks but there was no way I was going to wait 8 weeks. I called and called and called to get a hold of a supervisor and repeatedly told that supervisor is busy. I told them very clearly that there was no way I will stop calling until I get a hold of a supervisor. I sure did keep them busy. 13 calls within 30 minutes. Your call goes through right away in the early morning or late night.

 

When they realized that I was not gonna stop to chew their ### for being lazy, the supervisor order my case personally and review it and now it is complete.

 

So the moral of the story is to call them and tell them that you will not stop calling until you get a hold of the supervisor.

 

Supervisor personally called and completed my case and now I am all happy

Hello Everyone. I received CKLST on January 21st. I had to submit the missing paperwork. They received it on January 26th. When I called them, they said it will take up to 6 Weeks. After few weeks, I called them then they said they changed the process time to 8 weeks now. My 8 Weeks will complete on 23rd March and it's still not in Review. I'd like to know that what should I do if it doesn't get in Review by 23rd March. I just had to submit the Marriage Certificate in Urdu. Before submitting again, I called them and they said that they don't need in Urdu but I still submitted it. I called them again in the same week of submitting and one representative told me that they were missing Urdu Marriage Certificate. 

I had exactly the same thing happen to.us. our scan date was the 25/01 and insha'Allah our 8 weeks will be up on the 22/03. What I've already done is contacted my husband (the USC) local congressmans office to explain that we have been waiting so long etc and still nothing. You fill out a waiver of privacy form (think that's what it's called) and they will contact the NVC on your behalf to see why taking so long. Who ever the USC is from your self or wife contact the local congressmans office and explain situation and they will help you regarding the process.. but be sure to only actually start the process once your 8 weeks are up. The rep at the office explained they are only able to do a request Every 90days and as the NVC are sticklers for timing she said she will send an email once our form is received at midnight on the 22/03 so that the official 8 week period is up. I'd strongly advise that so the nvc recognize that you have involved a higher authority.
