Yes! Be hopeful and keep calling. If the rep tells you no supervisor is available, ask for a supervisor callback. And then also ask when supervisors will be available. I have had reps tell me they are in a meeting and should be available after an hour. I feel like sometimes you just have to be lucky...

Just called the nvc I can't believe it , I actually got an interview date April 24 , what a long and stressful process 6 months at nvc , hang in there guys eventually it's going to happen,  good luck to everyone.

wow, u definitely need to talk to the supervisor

if ur father was born long ago the system, the household registration may be the only document.

I noticed the other couple had same issue

talk to supervisor, explain the situation, hope they can accept it

i definitely feel you. we are about to have our wedding anniversary, birthdays apart (aside from other important events that passed),

 after waiting up to 8 weeks, and when you called they haven't started reviewing it, and you will be needing to wait another 6 weeks ,, 

 

unfortunately, all we have to do is follow up, and wait.

I agree with you it isn't fair also how they say "up to 8 weeks" when this is our 16th week waiting already and no answers!! We have to stay positive and have hope during this long and frustrating process because once it is over we don't have to do this again ??

 in this journey, it helps a lot to have VJ'ers to give us moral support and advices.

Husband called and my interview is on April 3rd!!!

 

Scan Date: 12/23/16

Case Complete: 03/06/17

Interview: 04/03/17

 

I am in disbelief, it is in two weeks!

try to ask for a senate or congressman's help, i read from comments that after few days they get feedback,

 

that is what's sad after waiting so long, they will give checklist, and then another weeks of waiting.
