Does calling NVC make a difference?  Am completely depressed about this.  Looks like in the end my papers will get done close to our second aniversarry ?.  Abu Dhabi consulate takes 6 to 8 months for interview after CC.  And it seems CC is elusive these days.

We have resigned to following up as all emails got the same reply - under review.

Congrats on your cc so happy for you, inshallah you will get the date. I got my hubby interview date after 2 months of cc. Wish you best of luck!!!

Checklist: February 28, 2017 - NVC didn't like the Philippines birth certificate of my wife the bene. Sending the same certified copy explaining it has all the required markings and signatures. Even the operator was confused on why it was rejected.

What did you miss ?

I thought my biggest fear was spiders NOP its checklist people ... freaking checklist !!! Scan date January 18th ( six weeks today ) . If I get a checklist after this many weeks of waiting, I don't know what I will do.

I did a mistake on the affidavit of support I-864A. I put my husbands name on the sponsor instead of mine. A very small mistake but have to wait 8 more weeks or so for them to review the corrected form. So depressing! ???

Oh gosh, this makes me nervous for my own birth certificate as well. There's only one format that the Philippine Statistics Office issues, and there are no other alternatives so I don't know what else they will look for in a new submission. Hope they accept your explanation so you can get on with the process and have an interview date.

Hi guys,

While I am preparing my original documents and civil papers for the interview which I have no Idea when it will be. Hope someday soon. I would like to ask please if I need to take the original of the I864 documents with me to the Embassy? My wife already submitted a copy of them to the NVC. I am really confused if I need them or no. Any advice please

At the interview day, you need to bring all original documents plus photocopies, if you submitted original to NVC make sure to bring photocopies with you. I-864 need to be original and signed by the petitioner. Take every bit of evidence!!! Best of luck
